My goal as a knifemaker is to create a cutting tool that is as artful as it is functional. The knife has to feel good in your hand and please the owner in shape, form, fit and finish. I take pride in the sole authorship of my blades. Hand forging, heat treating, tempering, fit and finish of handle & guard and making my own leather sheaths.

I forge my blades out of high carbon steel. The handle material I use varies from micarta (used on WWII electronics boards) to elk, deer and moose horn, fossil ivory, leather, exotic woods, brass, copper, silver.

Wind bells make a lovely sound and can be hung both indoors and outdoors. Each one is hand formed and they will vary slightly from piece to piece. These single chimes are made from black stoneware clay and left raw and unglazed for a matte finish and hung on heavy duty jute rope. Approximate size: bell is 4 inches wide x 3 inches tall. The length of the entire piece varies from 12-18 inches depending on the length of the jute.

If hung outdoors, it is recommended you bring them in during cold weather months.

The Kumi Hoop Earrings are hand made using bronze pods, and botanically dyed and braided silk. The Kumi Hoop Earrings measure 2.25" in length each, and feature 14K gold fill ear wire.

With the exception of Ebony, all colors are achieved via botanical dyes. White Tea | Black Tea Buff | Black Walnut

Due to the hand dyed nature of our jewelry slight variations in color are to be expected. We believe that this adds to the uniqueness of each piece.

I create each piece from the first sketches and designs to the polishing and packaging. I  believe that jewelry is an intimate and personal form of self expression. It is different for everyone but, for me it often expresses things I feel deeply but, cannot always say. It reminds me of things that are important and worth remembering. Linen is a beautiful and sustainable option for household use. Soft and sturdy, it also inhibits the growth of bacteria and microflora. This linen is heirlooms quality and makes a wonderful gift!

Measures 16 x 16” Set of 2 Linen, water-based ink

Good care will extend the life of these high-quality textiles, and they can age beautifully. Wash warm with like colors in mild detergent. Avoid pouring detergent directly onto the fabric, and avoid bleach. Try not to overdry your fabric as it can weaken the fibers. Iron while damp to reduce wrinkles if desired.
