The Muu Chair by BBB was designed in 2004 by Harri Koskinen, a versatile Finnish designer who has made a name for himself on the international design scene.
Harri Koskinen was born in Karstula in Finland in 1970 and studied at the Institute of Design in Lahti, and at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki.  In 1998 he set up his own studio called Friends of Industry which offers products and concept design, also developing exhibition architecture.
His creations are characterized by functionality and rigorous aesthetic criteria and comprise a wide range of different products – furniture, tableware, glassware, lighting, candleholders, and much more – created for world-renowned brands.  The designer is continually searching for innovative solutions that suit both the end-user and the manufacturer, always remembering that: “A designer should always bear the end price in mind. Designed by the American Gilbert Rohde in 1929, this exquisite table lamp was created to appeal to the masses of America. The design lives on through handcrafted workmanship providing a detailed modern classic reproduction of this important design piece.
Gilbert Rohde was one of the most important American industrial designers of the 20th century. Early in his career, he was an advisor to Herman Miller on the subject of modern design. During his career, he experimented with many material elements and created many new lines of modular furniture. One of his most famous designs includes a plexiglass chair exhibited at New York's 1939 World's Fair.

The Vienna 144 Bentwood Chair was designed by Gebruder Thonet in 1908.  It is an unusual classic that offers elegance and comfort. The new color variants of this bentwood chair evoke the ambiance of the café society.
The model was originally designed by Adolf Loos, with an austere steam bentwood beech design that slims the backrest and redesigns space.  The ring-shaped seat stabilizes the feet bent from a single piece of wood. The back legs and backrest have also been formed from a single piece of bentwood. The Vienna 144 is available with a wide range of different seats.

The Artifort Little Apollo is the younger brother of the "big" Apollo designed by Patrick Norguet. After the introduction in 2002, the Apollo became a modern classic. This dining room version breathes the same balance and harmony as his bigger brother.
The frame of the Apollo consists of a metal frame covered with foam. It can be upholstered with fabric or leather. The chair is available with a sled base, four legs, a tulip base, or as a stool.

1950's Table Lamp

This Art Deco Table Lamp was created in 1930 and found at a flea market in Paris. We sadly haven’t been able to determine the designer. The opal glass ball rests on a chrome-plated bowl, which is supported by three brass or chrome balls.
These act as the base and locking device for the glass ball, which is screwed into place through them. The transition between chrome, brass and glass contrasts with the consistency of the spherical shape to create an attractive appearance.

The Bertoia Backless Stool is a rare piece of modern classic history.  Using a frame developed in 1952 for his famous Wire Collection, Harry Bertoia developed a backless version of the stool's frame and mounted it with a cushion reminiscent of Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona chair.
This stool has only recently been put back into mass production in Italy.  The frame is available in the classic chrome, black or white.  The cushion is available in premium leather or the popular Alcantara fabric.

Sogno is a collection of upholstered seats designed by DIDA (Department of Architecture at the University of Florence, Italy).  Sogno glances toward the future.  It looks to the ways in which a society characterized by different lifestyles express itself in the interiors.  This led to the design of a seating system with flexible composition.
