Wilhelm Wagenfeld's tea warmer is not just a classic for tea lovers. Here, too, Wagenfeld combined his favorite materials, metal, and glass. The popular table accessory was created in 1928 when Wagenfeld headed the metal workshop of the Dessau Bauhaus. He decided to use the screwed connections of the nickel-plated brass frame as design elements to emphasize the design of the warmer. The opal glass lets the glow of the tealight shimmer atmospherically. With this everyday object, Wagenfeld also made clear his motto that being useful also means being beautiful.

In the 60s Martin Visser designed several benches for the Spectrum collection. The BR 12 Sofa Bed is based on Martin Vissers BR 43 model, but has the same frame as the well-known BR 02 Sofa Bed. However, the BR 12 has fixed armrests and therefore a different use option. The BR 12 has the same lever mechanism as our BR 02 sofa, which can also be used to transform this sofa into a sofa bed in no time. The two armrests are fixed elements on the couch, which remain in the same place when used as a sofa bed. The lying area between the armrests is 192 cm. The BR 12 sofa has a round tubular frame, matte chrome or black epoxy coated, and many options for upholstery.
Due to the sleek shapes of the design, we recommend a stretchy fabric such as wool, with which the sleek shape comes into its own. The sofa can also be covered with leather. Because leather is not elastic, there is room in the upholstery. Where an elastic fabric returns to its original form, leather can form folds.

In 1956, Benno Premsela designed the Benno Mirror as ingenious as it was simple. After almost 70 years, the mirror has become a real design icon. The story goes that Spectrum asked Premsela to design a beautiful interior accessory. Premsela looked through the stocks and semi-finished products that Spectrum already had and pulled out a wooden ring for a table. He made a slot here and told Spectrum that he had finished his design. The Benno mirror was a fact. The Benno Mirror consists of a beech multiplex circle with a diameter of 50 cm. The square mirror is slid into the frame through a slot on the top.

In 2020 Driade's internal design studio, Driade Lab, proposed the Ziqqurat collection in the iconic patterns of a white and black geometric design with black handle.  This particular cabinet uses a red lacquered open space to show a prized vase or flowers.  The cabinet is also available in a taller version (Ziqqurat Cabinet High) while keeping the same geometric design and colors.

Marianne Brandt's tea extract jug from 1924 is one of the most important Bauhaus icons. Only a few original examples from the Bauhaus metal workshop are known today and all are in possession of the museum. These specimens, designed by Marianne Brandt, all differ slightly in shape and have a value of over EUR 250,000.
A special design feature is the typical, cross-shaped foot section. Today's licensed version of the tea extract pot is made by TECNOLUMEN as a collector's edition in silver-plated brass.

The S4 Cabinet and S4-2 Cabinet were designed by Hanne Willmann for Tecta in 2018.  Hanne has always had a penchant for Bauhaus, most recently because of her teaching assignment in Dessau, and now due to the new S4 display cabinet, which she has created for Tecta. “Tecta’s formal language fascinated me right away,” says the designer with a studio in Berlin. “A focus on the essentials and a philosophy based on construction are the hallmarks of Tecta’s products and also reflected in my designs.”

The Tea Cannister WT 24 designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld is a classic form of the Bauhaus movement. The design of 1924 was already considered an excellent example of functional design at that time, which was limited to the simple, necessary forms of an everyday object.
The Wagenfeld WT 24  is one of the most important designs of the Bauhaus era. It was published in 1925 in Bauhaus Book No. 7. Loose tea can be stylishly stored in the tin. Originally, the tea tin was made of nickel silver, today it is made of nickel-plated brass. The high metal cylinder runs out into a rounded spout rim. The can is closed by a loose lid which, in contrast to the original design, has a locking mechanism that is not visible from the outside.

Tea Cannister Wt 24 By Wilhelm Wagenfeld

Designed by Carl Aubock in 1948, this unique umbrella stand has a base in metal fusion, lacquered with black epoxy varnish. The frame is in polished chromed drawn tubular wire. Aubock, a Viennese designer, worked in the Wiener Werkstätte, as well as the Bauhaus, before taking over his family business in 1925. He's most known for small pieces like this -- decorative but functional items for use every day in the home.

Carl Aubock Umbrella Stand

The Phill Table was designed in 2010 by Studio Parade for the Design Academy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The Phill Table is multifunctional as a dining table, work table or conference table. The open compartments on either side of the tabletop are ideal for storing a laptop, tablet or magazines. The tabletop comes with one drawer (15 3/4" wide) as standard, handy for storing small items. The drawer can also be used as a tray on the table.
The table is easily height adjustable due to a pin-hole construction. These functional details make the Phill Table extremely suitable for creating a flexible workplace and perfect for modern family life. The Phill Table is available in white laminate, oak veneer, or veneer oak stained black. The compartments in the tabletop vary from 10" to 17 3/4" centimeters wide and are 8 1/4" centimeters high. The division in the tabletop depends on the length of the table. On the long sides of the table, the top always has an (invisible) solid oak edge and the legs are also made of solid oak. The steel yokes, which connect the legs to the tabletop, make it possible to adjust the height of the table easily. By inserting the stainless steel connection pin into the holes of the yokes, the desired height can be selected, varying between 27 1/2" and 32 1/4". The yokes of the table legs are painted in the color that matches the top (white for HPL, off-white for natural oak, or anthracite for black oak). The Phill table is available in three different lengths.

The WG 27 Bauhaus lamp designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld is an iconic piece from the Weimar Bauhaus period.  Designed in 1928, the WG 27 is one of the best-known desk lamps of the 20th century.  This particular lamp has been manufactured with extreme attention to detail and quality.

Two of Hoffmann's enduring furniture designs, the Hoffmann Kubus and Hoffmann Velvet Chair, have gone onto to be very popular into the 21st century. Hoffmann's ability to combine classic design principles to these modern pieces have made these pieces true modern classics.
The Josef Hoffmann Kubus Armchair was presented at the International Exhibition held in Buenos Aires in 1910 on the centennial of Argentinean Independence known as la Revolucion de Mayo. Josef Hoffmann had a preference for geometric composition based on the square that was later attributed to his own formal language called "Quadratstil." This language was evident in everything Josef Hoffmann created both architecturally as well as his innovative furniture designs, including the famed Kubus Chair.

What does the A in the name Tabula mean? If you look at Tono's Tabula Table from the side, you can see a shape reminiscent of a letter - a large A. This A was rather accidental in Maly's first study on this large dining table, which has two long boards in solid wood tilted towards each other. How should they be stabilized? The solution was found using two horizontal reinforcements: the first cross beam in the upper part of the two wooden boards and the second in a lower position. In this way, together with the top, Tabula is a very stable form. This wooden structure has become so beautiful that it had to be left visible, so a glass top was used to provide the perfect solution!

Malmo Dining Table By Ton

The EB 27 Table Lamp designed by Eduard-Wilfred Buquet is just one of several revolutionary lighting pieces designed by this Frenchman.  Designed in 1926 and 1927, Buquet applied for patents for his famous desk lamps and their unique joints in February 1927.  Little else is known about Buquet as the man from the Paris suburb Montrouge was and remains a kind of phantom in the history of design.
Buquet’s design was presented to an audience through publications in French magazines in the late 1930s. It became one of the most popular table lamp designs of the Art Deco period and the 1920s, and it was often integrated in the interior designs conceptualized by architects like Le Corbusier, Marcel Breuer, Joubert and Petit, Maurice Barret, Louis Sognot, and Marcel Coard.
