Profile Dining Table

Dining Tables

Chairs take the most stress on their back legs, where they bear the weight of the user's upper body. The engineer, architect and designer Jean Prouvé incorporated this simple insight in his design for the Standard Chair: while steel tubing suffices for the front legs, since they are subject to less stress, the back legs are made of voluminous hollow sections that transfer the primary weight to the floor.

Hard carpet glides are included, thought felt glides for hardwood floors are available. Seat and backrest are available in natural oak, dark oak or walnut black pigmented with the base in pressed sheet steel and tubular steel in a variety of powder-coated color options.

The Standard is also available in a contemporary version with the seat and backrest in fine textured ASA plastic, known as the Standard SP (siège plastique) chair.

Mikado Dining Table

The CH88 is versatile both in terms of its appearance and usability thanks to its numerous finish, frame, and room placement options. Characteristically, the upper structure features a steam-bent wooden backrest for back support, with slight curvatures of the backrest's ends providing a natural resting place for the arms. The steel frame, with straight back legs, supports an oval-shaped wooden seat. This blend of materials, combined with a minimalist design, results in a light, organic, industrial expression. And the new, stackable design offers a valuable benefit. As seen in The Lekker Creative.

Ch88 Chair

Originally designed in 1950 by Hans J. Wegner, Carl Hansen & Søn reintroduces this classic based on Wegner’s original drawings.

The CH23 is an early example of Wegner’s unique style and insightful craftsmanship with elegantly shaped cruciform caps on the backrest and the special double-woven seat.

The chair has no armrests, making it practical for fitting around the table, even in small spaces. Thanks to its ingenious design and organic form, the CH23 is both stylish and comfortable.

Knoll’s Wassily Chair is an iconic, architectural lounge chair with a proud history. Designer Marcel Breuer was an apprentice at the Bauhaus when he began experimenting with tubular steel as a way of building a more transparent chair. Inspired by the frame of a bicycle and influenced by the constructivist theories of the De Stjil movement, Breuer reduced the form of the classic club chair to its elemental lines and planes.

The chair is a triumph of craftsmanship with a simple design and clean lines. Despite the chair's straightforward appearance it takes more than 100 steps to make one. Amongst other things, the hand-woven seat consists of more than 120 meters of paper cord. Hans J. Wegner designed the Wishbone chair for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1949 and it has been in continuous production since 1950.

Ch24 Wishbone Chair

Cecilie Manz’s Airy Coffee Table series for Muuto has a playful yet quiet personality, making it an easy addition to any space. The thin-welded frame creates a geometric and sophisticated silhouette, which is accentuated by a large, slim tabletop. Use any of the four available sizes on their own or mix and match to create a dynamic living room landscape.

Tabletop is made of plywood with a nano-laminate finish. Frame is powder-coated solid steel.
