The Crosshatch™ Chair employs both handcraft and technology to achieve alluringly refined results, using minimal materials in a maximally inventive way. Lightweight and transparent, Crosshatch™ is easy to pull up for a desk-side chat or to relax around a cocktail table. The Vienna-based studio, EOOS for Geiger, has received more than 70 international awards, including the coveted Italian Compasso d'Oro.

Parachute cords, a common industrial product, are an integral part of its design. Pulled down, the cords create a system of internal tension and supply the necessary back support, creating the feeling of being enclosed in a comforting, protective nest. Because of its simple, classic profile, the Crosshatch Chair can work in a broad range of environments, from an executive office or a reception area to a Manhattan penthouse or suburban living room. Online ordering is available in four standard configurations: a natural walnut frame with brown parachute cord in in fabric Pale Native Umber Wool Epingle or in Gray Wool Epingle, an ebony ash frame with black parachute cord in fabric Anthracite Wool Epingle, or in a white ash frame with cream parachute cord in fabric Natier Blue Wool Epingle.
