Felt+Fat was started in 2014, as a small studio focused on creating custom tableware for Philadelphia chefs. Five years later, their wares are in over 140 restaurants in five different countries, as well as thousands of homes.
During that time they've grown from a studio into a manufacturer, while maintaining their focus on the relationships that people have with their products. Their tableware is designed to act as a minimalist backdrop, so that their customer’s culinary creativity and experimentation is the focus.

Each and every one of their wares are handmade to order by our production technicians in their Philadelphia studio. All of their wares are created from their proprietary porcelain clay, mixed in house, cast in molds and finished with their custom line of glazes. Their process and finishing allows for slight variations in each piece, while retaining negligible differences in size, resulting in tableware that is both unique and consistent.

Meredith Noles is a multidisciplinary creator primarily traversing the fields of fashion and textile design. While working in a custom boot and saddle shop in Texas, she developed a love for handcrafted quality. This experience led Noles to Florence, Italy, to apprentice under local textile designers where she created hand-painted fabrics for Italian fashion houses while continuing her studies in Studio Art . Later she obtained her secondary degree in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design . Noles currently works as a knitwear designer for fashion brands in New York City and continues to create weavings that celebrate natural fibers and artisanal methods. Her designs are firmly rooted in the interplay between the structural and organic as well as modernity and nostalgia.

Tiny Bones Press is a design and letterpress studio that specializes in fine stationery featuring hand printed paper goods and book projects founded by Megan (she/her).
Megan spent her childhood in NJ, college in California, the last fifteen years working in the art and photo industry of NYC and now is on the Eastern end of NY, forever balancing east coast and west coast design sensibilities.
Her ethos is rooted in connection and relationships - about small details having the capacity to ignite and inspire bigger things.
Why the name “Tiny Bones”?
Bones because of a deeply vested interest in anthropology and through that interest, learning that the tiniest bones in the body are in the inner ear - what an amazing thing it is to be able to listen.
Isn’t that the essence of all connection?
Tiny Bones Press hopes that you continue to listen, continue to learn, continue to connect, continue to amplify powerful art and voices and each other.
PROCESS
Each piece is conceptualized, illustrated and designed in house. All pieces are hand-fed letterpress or foil (one by one) on vintage presses. This slow process allows for every piece of printed material to be produced by hand - quality is at the forefront.
SUSTAINABILITY
Tiny Bones Press proudly commits themselves to using fully recyclable materials and packaging. Their recent packaging rebrand has allowed them to remove plastic from all facets of their product (yes, even the stickers and their adhesive are fully recyclable or compostable). Our planet is a priority and Tiny Bones Press believes that we go above and beyond to ensure that we are doing our part with the materials we put out into the world.
The papers they work with are made from recycled (often discarded) materials, fully recyclable on their own and their entire letterpress process is sustainable. There are no motors on any of their presses, everything is manual (including the inking).

Medium Inka Kana Pot - Camel

Simple, sturdy, efficient and easy to use, this essential tool remains unchanged since 1890, but is unmatched in its design. The No.06 is the smallest model that features the Virobloc safety ring. It is small enough to be placed in a pocket or purse and will “deliver” when needs be. Use it at a picnic, to open boxes or letters and the Virobloc locks the blade shut while not in use.
The Opinel knife is named after the Opinel Family from the Savoie region in the heart of the French Alps. In 1890, Joseph Opinel invented a small folding knife that would eventually become a must-have item of French "savoir-vivre" (living a good life while staying elegant and smart).
Today the classic Opinel folding knife with its Virobloc safety ring is a design icon and is still made in France.

Since its creation in 1890, Opinel has been manufacturing its knives in the heart of the French Alps. Today their plant in Chambéry (Savoie, France) covers a surface area of almost 60,000 square-feet and employs 110 people, of which 60 work directly in production. All Opinel's products (traditional pocket-knives with carbon steel and stainless steel blades, specialist pocket-knives, sharp slim pocket-knives, garden tools, elegant table knives, etc.) are entirely manufactured in their factory in Chambéry, France.

Selva Negra was founded in 2016 in a tiny Brooklyn apartment in Crown Heights. Designers, Kristen Gonzalez and Sam Romero found an immediate connection after meeting in New York post-graduation from FIT (KG) and Parsons (SR).  Expressing design through their Latina heritage, Kristen and Sam revere big individual personalities and conceptualize through engineered comfort, contemporary shapes and multi-use silhouettes. Selva Negra is rooted in the use of ethical practices and is committed to ethically sourced materials, production transparency, zero-waste packaging while picking up new ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

Selva Negra was founded in 2016 in a tiny Brooklyn apartment in Crown Heights. Designers, Kristen Gonzalez and Sam Romero found an immediate connection after meeting in New York post-graduation from FIT (KG) and Parsons (SR).  Expressing design through their Latina heritage, Kristen and Sam revere big individual personalities and conceptualize through engineered comfort, contemporary shapes and multi-use silhouettes. Selva Negra is rooted in the use of ethical practices and is committed to ethically sourced materials, production transparency, zero-waste packaging while picking up new ways to reduce their carbon footprint.
Selva Negra sources our fabrics locally in Los Angeles, CA and some imported goods from Japan and Turkey.  All trims are locally sourced from Los Angeles and also imported from Japan. Their collection is fully produced in Downtown Los Angeles using ethical and sustainable practices.

YIELD is based in the small, historic town of Saint Augustine, Florida, founded by Spanish settlers in 1565. Yield's scents are inspired by the city’s welcoming blend of lush, tropical flora, cozy narrow streets, and historic architecture. All incense is handmade and packed in their Florida Studio.

Josefina Schargorodsky is a designer and illustrator from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Inspired by romantic nostalgia and the beauty of small things, her work includes illustrations for publishing projects, stationary designs, textile patterns, and product development for clients including Facebook, Disney, Hyatt, and Dannon and others. When she’s not working, Schargorodsky enjoys baking, watching documentaries, and sewing.

Ordinary Habit was founded with a simple purpose: to create artful objects, designed to be both fun and functional, that would help people access habitual moments of calm and connectedness. Founders Teresa and Echo Hopkins, a mother-daughter duo, believed in the transformative nature of something perfectly ordinary: daily play. They set out to create a debut product that would be simple to use, beautiful to look at, and easy to transport: a series of limited edition jigsaw puzzles that would function as both reason to gather together with friends and as an escape for individuals in search of quietude.
Ordinary Habit is building a company focused on the belief that cultivating mindfulness is essential to bring about indelible change. In continued support of their mission, they will be donating on a monthly basis to groups that support the emotional and mental wellness of Black and marginalized communities. As a start, Ordinary Habit donates to The Loveland Foundation, which brings opportunity and healing to Black women and girls.

Franca is a multi-cultural design studio based in Brooklyn, New York. The studio was founded by Sierra Yip-Bannicq and Jazmin de la Guardia in 2016. Jazmin and Sierra draw inspiration from their diverse cultural backgrounds to create playful and modern products that allow for the appreciation of details without overloading the senses. All of their ceramics are handmade in Brooklyn, New York.
