Felt+Fat was started in 2014, as a small studio focused on creating custom tableware for Philadelphia chefs. Five years later, their wares are in over 140 restaurants in five different countries, as well as thousands of homes.
During that time they've grown from a studio into a manufacturer, while maintaining their focus on the relationships that people have with their products. Their tableware is designed to act as a minimalist backdrop, so that their customer’s culinary creativity and experimentation is the focus.

Each and every one of their wares are handmade to order by our production technicians in their Philadelphia studio. All of their wares are created from their proprietary porcelain clay, mixed in house, cast in molds and finished with their custom line of glazes. Shinhyeon Woodcraft is a family-run business owned by Park Jaesin and his son Hyeon. Jaesin has over 40 years of experience in woodcraft and is well known for their Dasikpans, tradition Korean dessert boards with carved designs. These days he and Hyeon focus on crafting cutting boards and other kitchen utensils. In creating their work, the Parks have always adhered to traditional Korean woodcraft techniques.
Traditional Korean woodcraft, exemplified in the works of the Parks, is grounded on selecting the best kinds of wood, naturally drying them for an extended period, and crafting them in a way that respects the texture and grain of the wood. Jaesin and Hyeon adhere strictly to this tradition. Wood is extracted from unsplit logs selected by Jaesin himself, from aromatic trees, such as ceder and cypress. The wood is then dried for a year or so in a natural environment, before it is worked on using only hand tools.

A story from Liz, Wild Lather's Owner & Maker:
That last day. We were standing on what felt like the edge of the world, cliffside at Muriwai Beach, New Zealand. Our rental car doors were open, music was playing, and we looked down at the black sand beach, trying to wrap our minds around the journey that was ending. That was our last destination after living out of suitcases for the past eight months - just the two of us - planning as we went along. I had no idea what to expect when we boarded the flight back to New England the next day. We had both quit our jobs and left the lease on our Boston studio. We were kind of broke, kind of had no place to live, and kind of terrified that we would never feel that happy again.
During that flight I thought about the people and places we met. The makers, bathers, and surfers along the way. I also thought about the beautiful landscapes I could barely comprehend, and in contrast, a glacier in New Zealand that had retreated so far back you could now stand on the stone it once covered. I thought about how everything I needed could fit into a single suitcase when utilizing simple, multi-use products. That realization made me feel more connected to myself and the environment. Lastly, I thought about my soap making hobby. How relevant this time-honored method of bathing with plants suddenly felt. Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, everything changed.
That summer I obsessively researched, sourced, and tested the ingredients for a bar soap that would gently cleanse and deeply nourish. A bar made from organic plants and free of palm oil and synthetic substances. As I poured myself into it, scent nostalgia crept in and memories from our adventure began to form essential oil blends. By December 2018, we launched Wild Lather. And that bar turned out to be a triangle.
For every batch, we take our nourishing blend of five organic plant oils: Coconut, Olive, Shea Butter, Camellia, and Castor, saponify them, then combine them with naturally occurring clays and solar-infused botanicals. We then swirl in a house-blend of steam-distilled essential oils and allow them to air-cure for one month. A time-honored process that's so worth the wait. Made for full body bathing, shaving, face cleansing, and sustainable travel.

Relaxing Birthday

This self-watering 8" planter is hand-spun from a single sheet of aluminum, then powder-coated. At 8 " in diameter and 8" in height, the planter holds a range of houseplants and saplings. The planter can be used as a cachepot (holding already potted plants) or as we recommend, fully potted with soil placed directly inside to take advantage of its self-watering feature. The planter contains a 1.25" reservoir at the base divided from the main body by a perforated aluminum disc. The reservoir keeps standing water separate from the soil, preventing root rot, but evaporates back into the soil once it begins to dry out. This leads to healthier plants and easier care. Indoors/outdoors suitable, but recommended for use in covered areas in case of heavy rains.

Shinhyeon Woodcraft is a family-run business owned by Park Jaesin and his son Hyeon. Jaesin has over 40 years of experience in woodcraft and is well known for their Dasikpans, tradition Korean dessert boards with carved designs. These days he and Hyeon focus on crafting cutting boards and other kitchen utensils. In creating their work, the Parks have always adhered to traditional Korean woodcraft techniques.
Traditional Korean woodcraft, exemplified in the works of the Parks, is grounded on selecting the best kinds of wood, naturally drying them for an extended period, and crafting them in a way that respects the texture and grain of the wood. Jaesin and Hyeon adhere strictly to this tradition. Wood is extracted from unsplit logs selected by Jaesin himself, from aromatic trees, such as ceder and cypress. The wood is then dried for a year or so in a natural environment, before it is worked on using only hand tools.

Tiny Bones Press is a design and letterpress studio that specializes in fine stationery featuring hand printed paper goods and book projects founded by Megan (she/her).
Megan spent her childhood in NJ, college in California, the last fifteen years working in the art and photo industry of NYC and now is on the Eastern end of NY, forever balancing east coast and west coast design sensibilities.
Her ethos is rooted in connection and relationships - about small details having the capacity to ignite and inspire bigger things.
Why the name “Tiny Bones”?
Bones because of a deeply vested interest in anthropology and through that interest, learning that the tiniest bones in the body are in the inner ear - what an amazing thing it is to be able to listen.
Isn’t that the essence of all connection?
Tiny Bones Press hopes that you continue to listen, continue to learn, continue to connect, continue to amplify powerful art and voices and each other.
PROCESS
Each piece is conceptualized, illustrated and designed in house. All pieces are hand-fed letterpress or foil (one by one) on vintage presses. This slow process allows for every piece of printed material to be produced by hand - quality is at the forefront.
SUSTAINABILITY
Tiny Bones Press proudly commits themselves to using fully recyclable materials and packaging. Their recent packaging rebrand has allowed them to remove plastic from all facets of their product (yes, even the stickers and their adhesive are fully recyclable or compostable). Our planet is a priority and Tiny Bones Press believes that we go above and beyond to ensure that we are doing our part with the materials we put out into the world.
The papers they work with are made from recycled (often discarded) materials, fully recyclable on their own and their entire letterpress process is sustainable. There are no motors on any of their presses, everything is manual (including the inking).

Moglea is an Iowa-based letterpress studio that focuses on the craft of artful stationery and paper goods. Production processes are done by hand and make each piece one-of-a-kind. Moglea was launched in May of 2012 by Chad and Meg Gleason. After moving to Chad's family farm in Audubon, Iowa, they bought a century-old letterpress and started creating the Moglea line. Meg sought to bring unexpected processes like dip dye and hand painting to the fine stationery market.

A story from Liz, Wild Lather's Owner & Maker:
That last day. We were standing on what felt like the edge of the world, cliffside at Muriwai Beach, New Zealand. Our rental car doors were open, music was playing, and we looked down at the black sand beach, trying to wrap our minds around the journey that was ending. That was our last destination after living out of suitcases for the past eight months - just the two of us - planning as we went along. I had no idea what to expect when we boarded the flight back to New England the next day. We had both quit our jobs and left the lease on our Boston studio. We were kind of broke, kind of had no place to live, and kind of terrified that we would never feel that happy again.
During that flight I thought about the people and places we met. The makers, bathers, and surfers along the way. I also thought about the beautiful landscapes I could barely comprehend, and in contrast, a glacier in New Zealand that had retreated so far back you could now stand on the stone it once covered. I thought about how everything I needed could fit into a single suitcase when utilizing simple, multi-use products. That realization made me feel more connected to myself and the environment. Lastly, I thought about my soap making hobby. How relevant this time-honored method of bathing with plants suddenly felt. Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, everything changed.
That summer I obsessively researched, sourced, and tested the ingredients for a bar soap that would gently cleanse and deeply nourish. A bar made from organic plants and free of palm oil and synthetic substances. As I poured myself into it, scent nostalgia crept in and memories from our adventure began to form essential oil blends. By December 2018, we launched Wild Lather. And that bar turned out to be a triangle.
For every batch, we take our nourishing blend of five organic plant oils: Coconut, Olive, Shea Butter, Camellia, and Castor, saponify them, then combine them with naturally occurring clays and solar-infused botanicals. We then swirl in a house-blend of steam-distilled essential oils and allow them to air-cure for one month. A time-honored process that's so worth the wait. Made for full body bathing, shaving, face cleansing, and sustainable travel.

How to care for your crystal

The Moon: A full moon and a new moon are especially powerful for cleansing and recharging your stones. You can place them outside or on a windowsill at these times. Even if it is a cloudy night, the moon's rays will still energize the stones.

The Sun: The sun is also a very strong energetic way to cleanse your stones. Even when it is cloudy, the sun's rays will still energize the stones. Be careful though, as some stones will fade in the sunlight.
Smudging: Smudging is a very efficient way of cleansing gemstones. You can use sage (white sage is popular), sweet grass, sandalwood or even incense to smudge your crystals. Simply burn the smudge stick or incense and pass your stones through the smoke. This will clear the stones of all negative energy.
