The Nuvola Series of furniture, including the Nuvola Stool, was introduced at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2016.  The Series was met with great reviews.  Using styling from the modern classic era, the Nuvola combines old with new.  The base, developed by Midj's in-house studio, uses a contemporary tubular steel style.  This combination works great together to produce an outstanding bar or kitchen stool.
In this particular version, the Midj Nuvola R CU Stool uses Italian hide leather for over the entire stool (legs, seat and back), except for the metal foothold.

The material called Soft Touch Polyplus is a bi-component molded polyurethane. The product obtained in the mold is formed by a core in soft, flexible polyurethane and an external polyurethane skin that is colored, compact and elastic. Designed in 1955, the Jacobsen Series 7 Armchair continues to be one of the most popular chairs around due of its functionality, durability, flexibility and overall contemporary design. Designed by the famed Danish designer, Arne Jacobsen, 5 million of these chairs have been installed in homes and businesses around the world. Arne Jacobsen was a fascinating designer whose work was not limited to furniture. Though he had several legendary furniture designs, such as the Egg Chair and Swan Chair, he will also be remembered for his talents as an architect. Such projects as St. Catherine's College at Oxford, the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and the Danish National Bank exhibit his Danish Modern Style.
Jacobsen was known to have many faces. As a designer, he was a perfectionist. In his non-professional life, he was known to have a fantastic sense of humor. He enjoyed making others laugh at his own expense. One famous story recalls Jacobsen betting friends that he would wear a melon as a hat.
Using a multi-layered wood structure with a beechwood finish, the seat and back are mounted on a tubular steel frame that has been chromed. The underside and bentwood structure are manufactured in the same way the original Series 7 chair was built. Stacks 5 high.

The Ola M LG Stool by Midj is inspired by Mies van der Rohe's principle of "less is more", meaning remove the superfluous in order to leave the essential. In the Ola design, there are two souls which are in direct contrast.  On one hand the metal tubular frame, on the other hand, the sinuous shell, which is in metal.
