The HL 99 Bauhaus Pendant Lamp by TECNOLUMEN, consisting of a chrome-plated or polished brass tube with an opal ball, was created by an unknown designer in 1900. It was one of the first lighting fixture designs developed for electric light bulbs. It has enriched the interior designs of many architects, such as Peter Behrens, Adolf Loos and Josef Hoffmann. The Bauhaus School had similar designs by Marianne Brandt and Hans Przyrembel. This lamp was manufactured in large numbers in the 1920s and 30s, when it was mainly used in schools and offices.

Created by the Danish designer Mads Johnson, The Stockholm series has become one of his contemporary signature pieces.  When Mads was just a kid growing up in a small town in Denmark, he carved and created a myriad of items from wood.  This early exploration led to his passion to create new items from wood.  It is not tough to believe that his earliest jobs were as a cabinet maker and carpenter.  After studying in Helsinki, Dallas, Munich, and Oslo, Mads started in his creation of furniture.  He designed this stunning series in 2009.

The Ola M Stool by Midj is inspired by Mies van der Rohe's principle of "less is more", meaning remove the superfluous in order to leave the essential. In the Ola design, there are two souls which are in direct contrast.  On one hand the metal tubular frame, on the other hand, the sinuous shell, which is in metal.

These qualities are tested through 460,000 cycles simulating sitting, and also with techniques that model what is likely to happen in a pub. Gallant Stool By Tonon

The SB 06 Stool was designed in 1960 by Martin Visser. The pure material, the clear construction, and minimalist design language are typical of Visser's work. The chair has a slender steel tubular frame, chrome-plated matt brushed or black epoxy coated, and a leather cover. The SE dining room chair is also available in an upholstered version, the SB 07, and a variant with a woven cane seat, the SB 05 chair. The strong saddle leather requires craftsmanship in processing and has the natural property to stretch through use. That is why the cover on the underside of the seat is provided with a leather lace with which the seat can be tensioned again. A beautiful functional detail that makes this timeless dining room chair so special!
The SB 06 is available in three colors of leather: natural, dark brown and black. Saddle leather is a natural product and discolors through use and under the influence of light. The latter is especially applicable to natural saddle leather and provides a characteristic and lively image.

Martin Visser Sb 06 Stool By Spectrum Design

Designed by the Italian designer Alex Gufler, the Merano Bentwood Armchair is one of the newest items from Ton.  The unique axis of the seat and arms give the chair contemporary character, but also allows the chair to maintain a certain traditional look.  The Merano bentwood chair was the Red Dot Design Award Winner in 2011.
The Merano is constructed in one of the original bentwood factories set up by Michael Thonet in the 1800s. The factory has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1861.  It is now just one of three of the original bentwood factories still in production.

Eero Saarinen Executive Armchair

The Strike Stool was designed by the Bologna, Italy studio of AtelierNanni in 2017.  In this fun and contemporary design, a solid wood base with rounded legs is used to give a light and airy feel.  The back, somewhat reminiscent of an umpire's facemask, is made with a lacquered steel rod with wide gaps for plenty of light exposure through the chair.

Penelope Strip Stool By Casprini

The SB 05 Stool with a seat and backrest made of wicker, was designed in 1960 by Martin Visser. The manuscript of Visser is unmistakably visible in the apparently simple design. Like his colleagues Marcel Breuer and Poul Kjærholm, Visser designed his SB seats in three versions: with upholstery (SB 07), in saddle leather (SB 06), and the SB 05 in wicker. The minimalist frame of the chair leaves plenty of room for the special craftsmanship of weaving wicker. The frame of the SB 05 is made of brushed, chrome-plated metal or black powder-coated. The seat and back are made of wicker, a natural material made from the solid core of peeled rattan stems. The weaving of wicker is carried out by local, specialized professionals.

Punton Short Stool By Ton

While we don’t know for sure who designed the BH 23 Bauhaus Floor Lamp around the year 1923, we do know that the designer had a soft spot for mechanics, as the lamp arm can be aligned with a counterweight. It’s also clear to see that the floor lamp was created during the Bauhaus movement.
Its playful form and flexible aura are reminiscent of Oskar Schlemmer’s traditional ballet figures and Marianne Brandt’s clear and delicate lamp designs. The BH 23 Bauhaus Floor Lamp by TECNOLUMEN adds a touch of art to sophisticated rooms.
