Portuguese designer Rui Alves was inspired to create The Tailor Sofa by the memory of his grandfather’s favorite tailor shop. An image of the tailors bent over work tables and of old wooden hangers holding grey suits has stayed with Rui. Like that tailor shop, he has designed the Tailor Sofa to be authentic, with everything on display: “I wanted to show all of it, the structure, the beautiful oak wood. Nothing should be hidden, as is normally done in sofa design. The sofa is meant to be seen from all sides.”. It is especially beautiful from behind. The sofa has a light and airy appearance, the structured upholstered part supported by the wooden frame for a comfortable and practical sofa for everyday use.
The frame is made of oak wood and holds a foam shell covered upholstery. The detail in the wood and the upholstery give the sofa a handmade look and all the wood joints are carefully designed to follow the round shape of the sofa.

Looking to the way in which a picture or a painting is framed, the Copenhagen based design studio krøyer-sætter-lassen investigated how an entire frame could surround a mirror without detracting from the beauty and reflection of the glass.The result is nimbus, a refreshingly simple mirror in bronzed or polished brass and light-reflecting glass which defines a space with its soothing and sophisticated round shape. A mirror isn’t merely purely functional: since ancient times, they have reflected the style of a period – framed by ornate Baroque flourishes or Gothic arches and the simple lines of the Bauhaus movement. MENU’s latest iteration takes the fundamentals of the mirror into the modern age, yet with a mythological twist, referenced in its name: in Greek mythology Nimbus was a shining cloud or corona that often surrounded a deity when on Earth. Design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen looked to the way in which a painting or picture is framed to change the overall expression of the artwork. Encompassed by a halo-like bronzed or polished brass ring, held in place by decorative screws, the circular mirror adds to the sense of light and space in a room. Surrounded with a bronzed or polished solid brass frame, held in place with decorative screws, the Nimbus mirror measures 110 cm in diameter, making it ideal as a functional object, as well as a decorative addition to homes, hotels or offices.

Materials — Shell consists of a wood and plastic composition with 25% wood fibers, 70% PP (polypropylene) and 5% colored PP. Tube base is made from powder coated steel.

The FIBER SIDE CHAIR has been designed to balance maximum comfort with minimum space. The chair has been produced from an innovative bio-composite material that includes 25% wood fibers. From a distance, the shell appears to be normal smooth plastic, however, when viewed up close the tiny pieces of the wooden fibers become apparent, giving the chair a whole new character.

Fiber Side Chair With Tube Base

The Silo pouf from Normann Copenhagen takes its name from its simple cylindrical shape, which forms a strict contrast to the vibrant upholstery. Luxurious, woven textiles from the Italian manufacturer Imatex give the poufs a stroke of extravagance that is held neatly in place by the simple geometric silhouette. The poufs are available in three sizes, Ø50, Ø70 and Ø90 cm, that can be combined in 3 color directions: Muted black/brown shades set the tone for sophisticated city chic, a palette of blue hues direct your thoughts towards the Italian coast, while a mixture of warm confetti colors and dusty brown creates an exclusive and lively vibe.
