The Elle Armchair features soft edges and a clean-lined design, making it the perfect lounge chair for modern enthusiasts. The low seat height and 4.5" tall legs create the illusion that the chair is floating just above the floor, adding a visual elegance to the cozy and comfortable design. The Elle lounge system is comprised of separate modules that can be ordered in any combination to create sofas and sectionals. The seat and arm cushions are engineered with layered foam core and wrapped in a generous amount of feather and down to provide the perfect amount of support. Each cushion cover is precisely sized to give a soft, casual appearance without looking loose. The Flora placemat by Chilewich transforms familiar, natural forms into a striking graphic interplay of light and shadow, motion and stillness. To create this printed placemat, the Chilewich design team used one of the earliest photographic processes to make continuous-tone, contact-printed images-known as cyanotypes or sunprints-of fresh and dried flowers. The composition adds dimension to the silhouettes, evoking a field of blooms turning toward the sun. Easily cleaned, long-lasting, and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Flora Placemat

Crafted in the spirit of Bauhaus textiles and created a century after the start of that famous school of design, the Heddle placemat by Chilewich delves into the intersection of stitching and shading. Sections of more graphic, drifting yarns are intermingled with flat-woven fields of muted stripes. Consisting of about 50% more yarns than their signature Basketweave, this cheerfully colored weave is the weightiest fabric Chilewich has ever prepared for the table.

A central component of the loom upon which Heddle was produced gives this placemat its name. A weaver threads every warp yarn on a loom through the eye of a heddle in a process that closely mirrors working with a sewing needle. Raising and lowering these heddles in a certain intentional sequence generates a great variety of patterns in the weave. Heddle is safe for both indoor and outdoor use, resilient, and easy to wash.

Since 1934, Kontex has been crafting high-quality towels in Imabari, Japan. The secret to Kontex' softness is in the manufacturing process. Each towel is made from fine, garment quality thread that's loosely twisted for the highest level of softness. Such threads would break on modern weaving machines, thus Kontex towels are gently woven on traditional, low-speed machines to maintain the integrity of the thread and achieve a level of softness that modern machines cannot produce.
