Since 1934, Kontex has been crafting high-quality towels in Imabari, Japan. The secret to Kontex' softness is in the manufacturing process. Each towel is made from fine, garment quality thread that's loosely twisted for the highest level of softness. Such threads would break on modern weaving machines, thus Kontex towels are gently woven on traditional, low-speed machines to maintain the integrity of the thread and achieve a level of softness that modern machines cannot produce. Fritz Hansen’s Bulb Fiction™ is close to the classic incandescent bulb, but the shape has been upscaled and designed as a whole unit, uniting socket and bulb into one iconic shape. The same applies to the cord, which has been given extra volume using a thick, white silicone cover. Bulb FictionTM consists of a hand-blown acid-treated opal glass shade and an aluminum suspension with a soft, organic shape.

Bulb Fiction™ is constructed with an aluminum suspension and an acid frosted opal glass shade. The white PVC cord measures 118" and includes a white canopy. Bulb not included.

Designed to complement the In Between Chair, the curvature of the circular In Between Table is reminiscent of the negative space in the form of the chair's backrest. Furthermore, the shape of the table has been selected to address issues within modern interiors; its round shape means it must be brought away from walls, taking an active role in any room and inviting intimate and egalitarian conversation.

The table legs were created using woodturning, a traditional technique that uses a lathe to shape wood. For &tradition, a connection to the past is an essential component for any item in the collection. "Wood turning is a result of my love for Scandinavian heritage and traditional wood crafting," says designer Sami Kallio, "there is a satisfaction that comes from using old techniques."

The table is available in two sizes in either white oiled oak, smoked oiled oak or black stained oak. Although some of the manufacturing processes are traditional, the table comes disassembled as a flatpack, addressing the ease of transport in a modern world.

The Rotary Tray is a contemporary rendering of the classic etagere by Jasper Morrison. Thanks to its simple shape and subtle colours, the Rotary Tray complements any interior style and lends itself to many different uses. The top level rotates around the offset stand so it can be positioned over the lower tier or project over the side.Whether in the kitchen or on the dining room table, in a bathroom or entryway, at the office or in a child's room: the Rotary Tray offers a decorative way to tidy up any space.

In 1986, Jasper Morrison founded his own design studio in London after studying at the Royal College of Art. Morrison became a leading figure of "New Simplicity", a movement that advocated a more modest and also more serious approach to design. In addition to furniture, he has also created lamps, home accessories, textiles, a tram system for the city of Hanover, Germany, and a bus shelter for the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein.
