Designed in 1950, The Hunting Chair was Mogensen's first work with exposed wooden framing and saddle leather. The seat is adjustable with solid brass buckles, and the chair is easy to move around to different locations in the home. Børge Mogensen drew much of his inspiration from traditional chairs of other cultures, such as English Windsor chairs and the Shaker movement in America. In Spain, a traditional way of making furniture involved the use of sturdy leather to construct the seat as part of a wooden structure – hence the name of what went on to become one of Mogensen's most celebrated designs.

These traditional Japanese Higonokami or folding utility knives are made of high carbon “Ao-hagane” blue steel. The blade folds into a brass sheath. The blacksmith industry in the Banshu region in the Hyogo prefecture of Japan was said to have started long ago when a Katana factory was located there. What began as an industry producing straight razors in 1744, now manufactures a variety of products including utility knives, traditional Japanese straight razors, Japanese gripping shears used for cutting thread, pruning shears, and floral shears. Each piece is painstakingly made by hand by skilled craftsmen using the same techniques that have been employed for generations.

Godot is a comfortable and generous sofa series comprising 2- and 3-seater sofas as well as an armchair. The inner "spaces" of the sofa are designed in sizes allowing for a comfortable seating position without limiting the freedom of movement and the freedom to stretch your legs. The soft shapes of the upholstery are deliciously inviting and, also, constitute a marked contrast to the sofa's exterior of more simple and geometrical forms. The interior belongs to the occupant and the exterior belongs to the room. Iskos - Berlin Design is a partnership between Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos. The firm operates within the fields of industrial, furniture and graphic design. This enterprise was only established in late 2010, but Boris and Aleksej had worked together for a number of years prior to setting up shop together. In 1987, Boris co-founded Komplot Design, where Aleksej was employed as an assistant for more than 11 years. This long and fruitful cooperation engendered a shared design philosophy. The exterior vertical and rectangular surfaces allow for easy and natural placement of couches along with and close to walls as well as positioned centrally in the room; and, likewise, the feasibility of placing the furniture side by side as well as back to back. This feature makes Godot very usable in private as well as in public spaces.
