Sibast Furniture worked with danish artist Kasper Eistrup in developing the XLIBRIS series. It consists of two pieces of multifunctional furniture: a wall-mounted, self-supporting shelf and a matching table, both with an ultra-slim silhouette and a light style, reminiscent of Japanese origami art. The design uses 45 degree lines from the side of the shelf to the front edge of the board. Kasper Eistrup’s artistic approach to design and his sense of detail are also evident in XLIBRIS, furnished with an exclusive brass emblem mounted on the side of both the shelf and the wall-mounted desk. The emblem is made up of four hearts joined into a four-leaf clover. The hearts symbolise a predilection for necessity, functionality, the material and the craft – all of which were involved in the development of XLIBRIS. Both the shelf and the wall-mounted desk are assembled without visible screws, emphasising the impression of XLIBRIS as two integrated pieces of furniture that seemingly grow out of the wall.

Designer Simon Legald wanted an alternative to the quaint, traditional cake stand, so he designed a simple, contemporary series of serving dishes for cakes and anything else! Glaze has a clean design in powder-coated aluminum for a modern and stylish display. The series consists of three cake stands: a one-tiered stand, a tray with a central grip, and a three-tiered stand with a grip at the top. Grips and feet are made of powder-coated steel with soft, rounded edges. Glaze is designed with baked goods and sweet treats in mind, but can be used in many other ways. The stands are perfect for serving savory pies, cheese, fruit, canapes or even sushi.

The Dennie Footstool fits seamlessly with the Dennie Chair. Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel originally designed the Dennie Chair in 1956 for the Republic of Fritz Hansen, but it has never before been produced in a large scale. After Nanna Ditzel passed away in 2006, her daughter Dennie, who is taking care of her parent’s design heritage, asked Onecollection to re-launch the chair and ottoman.
