The Pierre Paulin Tulip Midi, at the time known as 'F549,' was the missing member of the Tulip furniture family. The Tulip armchair was designed by Pierre Paulin in 1960 and now completes the series. In terms of its dimensions, this midsize armchair is the perfect equilibrium between the Little Tulip dining chair and the large Tulip armchair. The Tulip Midi is equipped with either a cross-base or a disc base and comes in many colors and fabrics as well as leather.

If you want to see what makes Artifort's 691 Series unique, just look at it from behind. The steel tube that runs over the back from arm to arm lends the otherwise sober 691 a contrasting self-assured look. The 691 Series is loved for its firm comfort. The sofa is fully upholstered and is available as 2, 2.5, or 3-seater and also as a fauteuil. Its striking back also enables the sofa to stand alone in a room without looking too dominating. The 691 Series has been in the Artifort collection now for 25 years and was designed by what was then the Artifort Design Group in 1987.

The new K5 Side Table by Thomas Schnur is permeated with a constructive idea. With its light, organic shape, it can be used in no time at all. Some are reminiscent of an insect, others tend to be vertebrates. Both fit because the new K5 from Thomas Schnur clearly belongs to the category of likable accessories.

What comes so easily follows a long history. "The constructive idea should penetrate the piece of furniture". This design approach, which is reminiscent of the designer Jean Prouvé, also inspired Thomas Schnur. The young designer first visited the Cantilever Chair Museum in Lauenförde years ago. “Back then I was electrified by the pioneering spirit of Stefan Wewerka or Jean Prouvé.” For Schnur, it was both a drive and a task to develop something of my own. “The basic design idea is immediately apparent with the K5 table. The steel tube penetrates the room as a line, the two folded surfaces give the table a stand and hold its round top. "
Understanding furniture is a central element for Thomas Schnur. The trained carpenter is only convinced by what he can touch and test. “This down-to-earth attitude was given to me in my home village.” With K5, he developed a constructive piece of furniture that Tecta manufactures in three different sizes. A nesting table that is reminiscent of the shaped steel furniture by Prouvé and with its light, the organic shape can be used quickly. The steel body is welded, powder-coated, and is therefore suitable for both inside and outside.

The Charming Coffee Table by Tonon is part of the larger Charming Series that is based on a transitional design. The complete Charming Series of tables and chairs has been built to not only appeal to the eye but be rigorous enough to be used in contract environments.  The frame of the Charming is solid wood, while the top is veneered MDF with solid beechwood edges making for a rugged design.
The Charming Coffee Table was created for Tonon by the German designer Annette Lang.  The series includes an armchair, lounge chairs, and a stool.  Lang designs from her studio in Stuttgart.

The Artifort C 684 Sofa is a 1968 design from Kho Liang Ie. Kho Liang Ie was a prominent Indonesian designer. Born in Magelang, Indonesia in 1927, he emigrated to Holland in 1949. Early in his career, he handled larger contract projects such as the Holland Travel Office in New York, and the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. His work with Artifort started in the mid-1960s.
This particular item is considered to have restrained simplicity. The C 684 Sofa has a tufted upholstery, where the C 683 has a channel upholstery.

The table and seats from this collection are intentionally inspired by the archetype of the ancient Chinese chair, which was originally in wood.  The Mingx Collection has also been developed into a chair, armchair, and small low armchair.
It is a unique piece of industrial design that works well with the Mingx Lounge Chair.

Big Island Sofa By Artifort

Created in 1957, the Saarinen Tulip Table envelopes the thought and theory behind one of the 20th century's great architects. Constructed of cast aluminum, the Saarinen table flows from side to side in a fluid exchange of lines.  The Saarinen table shown here is a favorite as it can be used in a variety of spaces, but is most commonly used as a large coffee table.
Eero Saarinen’s introduction of the Pedestal Series was a radical solution to what he saw as a “slum of legs” problem in chair and table design.  Over three years, from 1954 – 1957, Eero Saarinen worked on the Pedestal Series trying to come up with a perfect balance between art and technology.  The optimization of the Saarinen table base was revolutionary but difficult to attain due to the materials that were available at the time.  Though his first choice was plastic (as he was striving to use a single material), he subsequently used cast aluminum and fiberglass for the chairs.
Our Saarinen tables are an exacting reproduction of the original Saarinen table. Absolute attention is paid to the workmanship of the stone, the unique knife-edge, and base creating a modern classic table meant to last for years. The Saarinen table base is available in matte white or black, glossy white or black, or matte silver. The Saarinen table base is finished with a transparent protective finish to help it resist scratches, stains, and scuffs. This unique side table name Mak was designed by Giuseppe Chigiotti for Driade.  Using four casters so it can easily move around from the lounge to the bedroom, it also features four shelves. Mak Coffee Table By Driade

Along with Walter Gropius, Mies Van der Rohe, and Theo Van Doesburg, Le Corbusier was the father of Modernism. Born Charles-Edouard Jeanneret in 1887 in Switzerland, Le Corbusier had a great interest in the visual arts at an early age. At age 23, he was an active designer and during the time in Berlin, met the famed Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe. It was a meeting that would have a vast impact on 20th-century design. During his career, Le Corbusier spent much of his efforts on designing building and environments for urbanism. His designs called for large blocks of cell-like individual apartments stacked one on top of the other, with plans that included a living room, bedrooms, and kitchen. Around this thought process, he designed entire cities. Le Corbusier's impact on furniture continues to impact current design. He designed several chromed steel tubular designs between 1928 and 1929.
This Le Corbusier table series is one of many of his designs that first exhibited at the Salon D' Automne in 1929. The Le Corbusier table was designed in 1928 for the exhibition as part of the furnishing of the "Equipement interieur d'une habitation; des casiers, des sieges, des tables."
The Le Corbusier Table is available in many sizes, heights, and shapes for numerous applications. The table is constructed of tubular chrome legs and black metal frame with glass top.
