Josh Rosebrook’s Serum Spray is one of those products that we never knew we needed because it’s not quite like anything else. And now that we’ve tried it, we think everyone should use it, too: Josh describes it as “the one product you won’t want to leave the house without having in your hair,” and we entirely agree.
Serum Spray is an anti-frizz, smoothing and defining styling product that has been formulated for all hair types, textures, and conditions — from fine to coarse textures and wavy to extra curly shapes.
We first fell in love with it as a heat protectant: it improves manageability with a weightless finish. But, as Josh points out, it might be even better as an air-drying fluid that creates a soft, smooth, relaxed, blissfully frizz-free finish. And it’s a nourishing scalp treatment, too. It’s like that kid in school who did everything well, effortlessly, and no one can figure out how or why.
OK, so there is a bit of a how and why here: Josh uses an aloe base infused with extracts of oregano, calendula, chamomile, thyme, neem, and bhringraj — we love an esoteric plant in the mix — to stimulate hair growth and restore scalp health. A tiny touch of organic marula, tamanu, hemp, and argan added to the aloe base quells frizz without giving you that dreaded “why yes, my hair has oil in it, thanks for asking” stringiness. (Like your skin, your hair likes a mix of water and oil, too, especially if you give it funny looks when it gets frizzy and puffy — but too much oil on its own is not going to do you favors unless you have dense, coarse hair.)

YULI Mr. Incredible is a beautifully multipurpose shave oil, beard oil, and face serum in one bottle. Like all of YULI’s formulas, it’s been thoughtfully constructed from start to finish, as though someone sat down and thought, “Hmm. How could we make one hardworking product that would somehow handle a variety of seemingly disparate things…but also seem effortless, weightless, and luxurious?”
Part of its secret is a perfectly chosen blend of base oils. Jojoba is beloved for its ability to mimic skin’s natural oils; argan, rich in natural vitamin E, is a go-to for its ability to soothe and protect; and grapeseed boasts heaps of antioxidants along with essential fatty acids. Macrene Actives High Performance Tinted Moisturizer was created by Dr. Macrene Alexiades, a prominent New York dermatologist, to address a clear need she saw in her dermatology practice: many of her breakout-prone patients wanted to wear concealer or foundation, but their makeup was often making their acne worse. So she created this dual-duty, non-comedogenic product to even out skin tone while at the same time fighting aging and acne with more than 30 active ingredients, including a suite of peptides to address fine lines and wrinkles; amino acids to address hyperpigmentation; squalane and sunflower to moisturize and maintain a healthy skin barrier; and marine extracts for additional protection against aging.
This formula — which to us seems more like a full coverage foundation than your typical tinted moisturizer — reflects and adapts to your own complexion, providing buildable coverage for blemishes and specific problem areas or all over for a smooth, even skin tone. Importantly, it’s free of mica and talc, two ingredients that Dr. Macrene often finds linked to breakouts.
Our local makeup artist, Melissa McMillan, tested it for us for a few months and loved how it performed on her own oily, acne-prone skin: “It has a beautiful velvety finish and good coverage that builds very well. This would be a perfect foundation for anyone oily, and it wears well throughout the day.”

Our shade selection advice:
The Light shade is extra light and a good match for porcelain complexions with a pink undertone (it tends not to match as well for those with yellow undertones). The Medium shade is versatile and will suit most fair to light tan skin tones; Light-Medium is ideal for those on the lighter end of this range. The Deep shade is ideal for tan to dark skin tones; Medium-Deep is best for those on the lighter end of this range. Extra Deep is best for full-face coverage in deeply pigmented skin and can also be used as a contour for a naturally deep, defined look.

Macrene Actives High Performance Tinted Moisturizer

Olio E Osso’s Tinted Balms have a major cult following among celebrities and pro athletes alike. They appeal to just about everyone because a) they're adorable, b) they're extraordinarily portable and easy to use, c) they leave you looking like the freshest, brightest, prettiest version of yourself — not like someone who's wearing makeup. They give lips and cheeks a sheer wash of color that moisturizes and nourishes, leaving behind a dewy glow.
In addition to color, these super hydrating, lightly grapefruit-scented balms contain just four carefully chosen ingredients — organic olive oil, shea oil, beeswax, and grapefruit essential oil — that condition lips and highlight cheekbones perfectly. They were created by a makeup artist, Paola LaMorticella, who has worked with top athletes for the last 25 years, including the US Women's Soccer Team: its members needed a makeup product for their shoots that didn't look or feel like makeup, so she whipped up these tinted balms.
Poppy is a lovely red with subtle, shining vibrance that brightens the lips and cheeks.

Manasi7 Bronzelighter in Roseate is a gorgeous cream bronzer with a silky texture that melts into skin so nicely, the immediate reaction of our whole team when we first saw it was "Ooooh." Roseate's absolutely perfect rose gold shade lends a sophisticated, soft-focus glow to any complexion without the orange color typically associated with bronzers. It's infused with superfine, light-reflecting pearls that melt right into skin for a radiant finish that looks totally natural and wildly flattering.
And its texture is so beautiful that it may be hard to stop yourself from digging your finger into the little pot and smearing on big, marvelous globs of it. It's more silky and less oily than the (also wonderful) All Over Colour, since it's meant to be smoothed on more easily and less parsimoniously. Still, as with all Manasi7 products, a little goes a long way — the color payoff and staying power are incredible. Creator Susanne Manasi Persson suggests using it as a cream bronzer on fair to medium-deep skin tones, and as a highlighter on very deep skin tones. Regardless of your skin tone, Susanne advises, "Apply it on the cheekbones – a little under, a little over — and a little on the temples and under the chin. It gives a really nice sun-kissed effect. If you want more color, add one of the All Over Colours on the apple of the cheek."
This Bronzelighter tends to be a must-have in every Manasi7 fan's makeup kit to add depth, dimension, and glow. It's as lovely as the name "Roseate" sounds and we think it looks great on everyone.
