Edo-period style candle from a Japanese candle shop in Uchiko, where the handmaking of sumac-wax candles has taken place for over two hundred years. Traditional wicks made from rolled Washi paper produce beautiful bright flames, while the plant-based wax is non-toxic and dripless.
