Made entirely of a single piece of solid wood, the natural castor aralia grain is showcased on the front and continues around the edge giving each tray a special handmade quality. Curator's Notes

Whenever we sit down for tea with Ando-san, we notice how he uses this gold tray to hold the accessories necessary for a tea ceremony as a way of highlighting the tools for the ritual. We can't help but admire how beautiful the tray is in itself. Handmade by Ando-san, this tray features a gold overglaze that will naturally patina with use over time. Its long shape sits elegantly on any surface, but it offsets particularly well on a narrow mantle or shelf.

The Organic Slate Round Tray by Ethnicraft is inspired by a riverbed's movement and its reflective metallics. The organic movement meets linear shapes when the pigment hits the glass taking on a life of its own. Great for serving or decorative purposes.

Ethnicraft's glass trays are stain resistant, but not impossible to mark. We recommend removing spills immediately to prevent staining. Always use coasters to prevent hot surfaces from leaving marks.
