Once printed, we then treat the cotton with a special acrylic coating, which seals the cotton making it waterproof, yet still soft to touch like real panama cotton.  Each curtain is hand made then in Italy - the shower rings are using the highest quality Stainless Steel, all hand finished.

The Belize ready made curtain collection takes a mix of yarn dyed 66% cotton and 34% Linen to create a double sided unique fabric we weave in Italy.  These curtains are woven on a jacquard weaving loom meaning the front and back are two different colours to create a heavier drapery.  We weave yarns dyed in slightly different tones, creating a luxurious & warm fabric with an incredible patina that is both natural yet warming.  Non-transparent so offering full privacy ( can also be used a natural dim out ).  A very unique fabric from our Italian mill.
The ZigZagZurich ready made curtain collection focuses on quality and difference. Extra wide curtains bring a new look to your windows. Being yarn dyed means these fabrics have the best in colour fastness and transparency.  Perfect in todays modern houses & lofts with large glass windows or equally at home in any location.

Unafraid Artist Cotton Blankets & Throws by Mark Barrow & Sarah Parke

Mark Barrow and Sarah Parke first collaborated in 2008 with a painting exhibited in Barrow's first solo exhibition at White Columns in New York. Parke then began weaving the fabric for all of Barrow's subsequent paintings. As the textiles became increasingly complex and as weaving's logic became the conceptual framework that linked their diverse interests, it became harder to differentiate where one or the other's ideas began or ended. In 2013 the pair started working and exhibiting under a joint moniker. The live and work in Queens, New York.

Unafraid Artist Cotton Blankets & Throws By Mark Barrow & Sarah Parke

The WAX ​​bedding collection was designed by the artist Martina Vontobel. Martina Vontobel is known for her material-characteristic works in the fine arts. Using a surprisingly timeless design language, is not only evident in her textile designs, but also in huge room installations in museums. Lines, layers and networks are topics in her diverse artistic work. With craftsmanship, mindfulness and a sense for the essentials of aesthetics, she creates an almost zen-like handwriting that surprises with her direct and simple beauty. Originally created in 1998 in the technique of wax reservation,  the artworks were drawn directly on the fabric with wax and then dyed by hand, with unique techniques such as scratching the wax surfaces to create even more elaborate patterns.
Now the time has come to be able to capture the original artworks using special techniques and reproduce them using the latest print methods, without losing the character and capturing the essence of the manuscript.
The resulting 20 year wait has ended up with the Collection WAX consisting of 4 designs, WAX Line, WAX Layer, WAX Field, WAX Grass. Classy, simple, wonderfully timeless but with a lot of identity. The strength is to be found in serenity.
The ZigZagZurich Artist bedding collection brings to home textiles a new dimension of art and design. We work with artists and designers from around the world across a broad spectrum of the art world, transferring their work or ideas onto textiles and developing products that are unique to the market. Our aim is to add a new level of bed linens never seen before - luxury bedding with original art that supports our artists directly with every product sold.
We use high-quality, super soft cotton for printing the collection on, not synthetic fibers, with the same quality standard of Italian production we stand behind on all our ranges. All bedding is hand made in Italy in our Atelier.

When the fabric is woven, we then wash the fabric in old Italian hot baths and leave to dry. This softens the fabric and creates a beautiful finish that has a slight vintage finish to the cloth. The ZigZagZurich Artist bedding collection brings to home textiles a new dimension of art and design. We work with artists and designers from around the world across a broad spectrum of the art world, transferring their work or ideas onto textiles and developing products that are unique to the market. Our aim is to add a new level of bed linens never seen before - luxury bedding with original art that supports our artists directly with every product sold.
We use high-quality, super soft cotton for printing the collection on, not synthetic fibers, with the same quality standard of Italian production we stand behind on all our ranges. All bedding is hand made in Italy in our Atelier.

Blue Melange Linen Duvet Covers / Pillows and Fitted Sheets - Yarn Dyed

A wonderful mid-weight yarn dyed linen bedding from our master weaver in Italy.  We use the finest Belgium flax which is then spun in Italy into the yarn for dyeing.  This yarn-dyed linen is woven with the two colour yarns to create this modern yet classic melange weave.   We then finish this to give it a slight vintage finish ( washed ) making it super soft yet stunning to look at.  At home in modern and classical homes, the melange subtly visible.
Yarn-dyed means the most intensive colours ( the yarns are dyed individually before they are woven ).  There is cheap linen bedding and then there is handmade luxury Italian linen bedding - we only make the best!
We added the linen fitted and flat sheets as well to this collection exceptional linen bedding collection.

The Belize ready made curtain collection takes a mix of yarn dyed 66% cotton and 34% Linen to create a double sided unique fabric we weave in Italy.  These curtains are woven on a jacquard weaving loom meaning the front and back are two different colours to create a heavier drapery.  We weave yarns dyed in slightly different tones, creating a luxurious & warm fabric with an incredible patina that is both natural yet warming.  Non-transparent so offering full privacy ( can also be used a natural dim out ).  A very unique fabric from our Italian mill.
The ZigZagZurich ready made curtain collection focuses on quality and difference. Extra wide curtains bring a new look to your windows. Being yarn dyed means these fabrics have the best in colour fastness and transparency.  Perfect in todays modern houses & lofts with large glass windows or equally at home in any location.
