This work, titled 'Alpha Male' by Chicago-based artist Guanyu Xu, is part of a larger body of work called 'One Land to Another.' The series interrogates issues of homophobia, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, and political ideology. "I was born and raised in a conservative family in Beijing. The prevailing cultural norms necessitated that my sexuality remain hidden. It was not until my arrival to the the United States in the spring of 2014 that I could finally have courage to reveal this secret. The suppression of my identity and the viewing of American films planted an ‘American dream’ in my head during my teenage years. However, I have now come to realize that this perception was not entirely accurate. Due to the history of anti-Chinese sentiments, problematic stereotypes of Asians and the dominance of white, macho gay, I became an “undesirable alien” in this “land of freedom”...I offer my queerness, displacement, anxiety and longing for utopia to destabilize the traditional norms in terms of race, sexuality and ideology." - Guanyu Xu
Guanyu Xu's photographic interventions offer an exploration of his complex personal history and identity. His work bridges the gap between the personal and political, highlighting the disparities and connections between the two nations, in which his intersectional experience of the US meets his conservative familial experience of China. His works have been exhibited globally, including the Aperture Foundation and ICP Museum and can be found in public collections including The Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. His works have been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, ArtAsiaPacific, The New Yorker, W Magazine, and Harper's Magazine.

The T-lamp is a take on the archetypal desk lamp, with a simple mechanism allowing it to tilt and cast light from different angles. Although simplified to basic geometrical shapes, the lamp has a monumental appearance. T-lamp comes in three texturally rich surfaces; brushed brass, brushed steel, and sanded white.
Frama is an interiors and product design studio based out of St. Paul's Apotek, an antique pharmacy located in the center of Copenhagen. The company uses their studio as a dynamic testing ground for new designs and projects, embodying their classical, yet boundary-pushing approach to product and spatial design.

TS, short for The Standard, is inspired by an Art Deco building in Copenhagen of the same name. The table collection is the work of design duo GamFratesi, whose work blends Danish craftsmanship with Italian conceptualism.

The round marble tabletop is supported by a black lacquered frame, referencing materials found in the original TS building. The sophisticated marble top, balanced by its simple black frame, creates a composed, yet statement-making design.

Dorian Ulises López Macías (Aguascalientes, Mexico, 1980) is a documentary and fashion photographer. Maarten Rots is a Dutch artist working with photography as a medium. He travels Europe with a camper van to uncover abstract images in daily surroundings, exploring the effects of light and shadow on textured, architectural objects. Rots intentionally utilizes the flattening effect of the camera to produce photos that lean toward graphic imagery. The resulting works are commonly confused for paintings or drawings, which he emphasizes further by printing on matte, textured paper. This poster is derived from a photo titled ' Acts of Boyhood Divination: Water Dancer ' by Derrick Woods-Morrow.

Through a process of renewal, Derrick Woods-Morrow envisions ‘place-making’, ‘playfulness’ & ‘experimentation’ as necessary forms of activism for trans, gender non conforming & queer bodies of color. His recent work explores an array of historical narratives from the American Coastal South, celebrating, and archiving interactions between bodies in motion, their gendered forms & their connection to the racialized southern terrain. Through fluidly choreographed movement queer folx engage with Woods-Morrow’s personal narratives, imbuing the moments captured in his photographs with questions of shared existence, commonality, cultural vernaculars for identifying oneself as part of a community. These images parallel concerns Woods-Morrow has about racial and sexual identity as a performance - placing on a fulcrum the intricate expectations of the self, of adulthood desire, and of childhood play. In his work physical bodies ‘inhabit’ a fictive America, developing methods for experiencing his new American ideal of intimacy – a type of seeing that challenges pre- programmed structures concerning ‘race’ & ‘identity; the laborious & restful in-action; the landscapes of inner desires juxtaposed against the physical and emotional terrains that our bodies frequently inhabit.

Derrick Woods-Morrow received his MFA in Photography from the School of Art Institute of Chicago in 2016. Most recently, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Photography and teaching artist at the University of Illinois Chicago. His work has exhibited at the 2019 Whitney Biennial in collaboration with Paul Mpagi Sepuya, and at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, among others. In Winter of 2019, his second short film 'much handled things are always soft' debuted in collaboration with the VISUAL AIDS 30th Annual Day With(out) ART programming at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Contemporary Art LA, The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, The Brooklyn Museum, The New Museum, and more than one hundred other institutions worldwide.

"In 2013, I was visiting a friend in Kent, CT on the land she grew up on. I began photographing Black artists one year prior for a series now called "Jewels from the Hinterland." Nedjra, Arvy, and I went on hikes, walked through this lush pasture, and spent the day in the pleasures of each other – making pictures, soaking up the sun, foraging and picking herbs to eat. There was deep peace on that day that I looking forward to reveling in again."
Naima Green is a Brooklyn-based artist and educator whose practice is rooted in placemaking and intimacy. She is the creator of “Pur·suit,” a deck of playing cards and forthcoming archive featuring queer womxn, trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people. She earned an MFA in Photography from ICP-Bard, an MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA from Barnard College. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at the Smart Museum of Art, MASS MoCA, International Center of Photography, Houston Center for Photography, Bronx Museum, The Studio Museum in Harlem, and Arsenal Gallery.

This poster is derived from a work titled 'Self Portrait with Red Skirt' by Mexican artist Nelson Morales.

Long time ago, I had the strength to express openly my sexual orientation, but the acceptance of my sexual preferences has not been enough for totally defining me. In this process, I began to establish a relationship of admiration and desire for the muxhes of the Isthmus in Oaxaca, where I am come from. For several years, I have explored their lives, I have discovered their fantasies, and gradually I have appeared in their photographs, accepting to play in their performances. With this project, I try to understand my own identity, perhaps identify in myself a dual identity as theirs, but still, an indefinite one.
This project has the idea of creating a series of self-portraits, in which I am part of my own community in Union Hidalgo, in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. I intervene my town with my presence, a transfigured or transgressive one. I try to explore the sensuality that exists between genders. I use the photography language to create and recreate my hidden relationship with muxhe’s sensuality, to discover my own sensuality.

Nelson has dedicated himself completely to photography since 2008. His work focuses mainly on issues of gender, body, identity and sexual diversity. His work has been exhibited globally, including Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Malaysia, India, Brazil, Argentina and Columbia, to name a few. His achievements include Finalist in the FOLA Photobook Award (2018) and First Place in the Pride Photo Award in the Netherlands (2019). His work has been published in Aperture, The New York Times, Vogue Italia, Vogue México, Vice, Mexicanísimo, TETU, among others. In 2018, he published his first Photobook, “Musas Muxe” followed by “Fantastic Woman” in 2019.

The Trípode lighting series was conceived to lend neutral spaces a warmer touch through the use of color.
This series features two sizes of table lamps, a floor lamp, and a pendant lamp version in various sizes. Each shade is handmade using ribbons, each woven from three distinct yarns that created new colors: terracotta, mustard yellow, and forest green. The three basic colors in the ribbon collection - natural white, amber red, and black - complete the range of six colors available. With the light on, the shade provides a warm light, rich in nuances. With the light off, this lamp is a sculptural statement piece that enhances the room.
