A step by step guide of how to take your measurements.

STEP 1: FIND YOUR SIZE

Measure your foot length. The simplest way to do this is stand on a piece of paper and mark the points at the back of your heel and tip of your big toe. This measurement will determine the length of your foot. TIP: Measure both feet as these may be different. If one foot is larger, choose the larger size, alternatively you can customise the size for the left and right boot for a perfect fit!

STEP 2: FIND YOUR FIT

When deciding on the right fit type, comfort is key. Our fit guides are true to form and there is minimal movement even after wearing the boots in, so select a fit type that is as close to your fit measurement as possible. Measure around your joint (the widest part of your foot), find the corresponding fit type in the guide below. The Women's fittings D & E are regular and wide fit types.

1. Since wool has a natural ability to self-clean, your glerups will stay fresh if you simply air them out and allow them to rest.
2. To remove stains we suggest that you gently clean on the stain with at light wet cloth and wool soap. You may have to repeat the process a few times, but make sure that you always leave the slippers to dry before starting over again.
3. Vacuum or blow your glerups clean of dust. Leather soles can be brushed and cleaned with a leather brush.
4. Rubber soles can be wiped with a wet cloth – make sure that they get some time to dry after cleaning.
5. Please be careful – natural rubber or leather soles may be slippery on wet and icy surfaces such as tile.
6. All our uppers are produced in 100% pure and natural wool and therefore you may experience colour difference from batch to batch.
7. Your glerups usually shed within the first 3-4 weeks of wear giving you a long-lasting comfortable feel for years to come. This is normal due to the natural treatment of our wool. Simply pluck the shedding fibers off and discard as desired.

For lighter weight garments (such as the Basic Tee and Ojai Tee) it's best to lay flat to dry or line dry.
Do not wash hemp textiles with towels or garments with zippers or velcro. This will cause abrasion and pilling, and zippers can snag the fabric.

SOFTENING: Hemp gets softer with use and after each wash, but if you feel the need for additional softener a commercial softener may be used. We suggest finding environmentally friendly and chemical-free options. An alternative way to soften hemp is wash in hot water followed by a tumble dry, and repeat two or three times. IRONING: Use a hot iron while the hemp is still slightly damp after washing. Stretch the damp piece to its natural size and shape before ironing. Iron the 'wrong' (underside) first, to preserve the texture of the fabric. ABOUT HEMP FABRIC: Hemp fibers are far stronger and more durable than their cotton and synthetic counterparts, resulting in garments that a very long time. The strength of hemp creates textiles that get softer with age and repeated washing, but won't lose integrity or shape like generic cotton. Hemp clothing is also breathable, naturally moisture-wicking and resistant to mold and fungi. Hemp Fabric Care

HEMP WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU, ESPECIALLY IF YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT.
HERE ARE OUR SUGGESTED GUIDELINES FOR TAKING THE BEST CARE OF YOUR HEMP GARMENTS:

Machine wash with like colors cold, tumble dry low heat.
Do not use bleach or other cleaners like oxi-clean.
For lighter weight garments (such as the Basic Tee and Ojai Tee) it's best to lay flat to dry or line dry.
Do not wash hemp textiles with towels or garments with zippers or velcro. This will cause abrasion and pilling, and zippers can snag the fabric.

SOFTENING: Hemp gets softer with use and after each wash, but if you feel the need for additional softener a commercial softener may be used. We suggest finding environmentally friendly and chemical-free options. An alternative way to soften hemp is wash in hot water followed by a tumble dry, and repeat two or three times. IRONING: Use a hot iron while the hemp is still slightly damp after washing. Stretch the damp piece to its natural size and shape before ironing. Iron the 'wrong' (underside) first, to preserve the texture of the fabric. ABOUT HEMP FABRIC: Hemp fibers are far stronger and more durable than their cotton and synthetic counterparts, resulting in garments that a very long time. The strength of hemp creates textiles that get softer with age and repeated washing, but won't lose integrity or shape like generic cotton. Hemp clothing is also breathable, naturally moisture-wicking and resistant to mold and fungi. Hemp also sheds dirt more readily than other materials, and after each wash your garments will feel incredibly fresh.

Some twenty years ago, Tina Karstorp had an idea. Actually, it blew her away, and it seemed impossible not to go ahead with it. Every year, summer or fall, it's the same story. Wind in the sails and sun at your back.  But anyone who has ever been at sea knows that regardless of how warm the weather is, you always need an extra sweater. One more layer, a little more warmth. But the fabric's thickness isn't always the crucial part. The wind at sea is just as welcome as it is unpredictable. It will push the boat forward or cool the people on board down.  And this is where it all started...
When we first started, there was a need for warm sweaters to keep the wind out. Today there are many other materials which can act as protective layers. That’s why we’ve taken our knowledge in knitting forward, and developed our clothes to become part of an outfit. They still have that marine feeling, though, and we’ll always return to that; to the ocean and the freedom.
For many years, we had our own factory, in Gällstad Sweden, where our sweaters were knitted. Thus, in 2004, our machinery was moved to Lithuania, where we let a local family business – not unlike our own – take over the production.  Because we produce our clothes just across the Baltic Sea, and as we purchase our yarns only from European suppliers, we have short transportations and the possibilities to affect the end results are endless.
This year we celebrate 20 years! And ever since Holebrook’s first day, knitting has been our focus. Over the years, our collections have grown and expanded with new qualities. It was knitting that started it all, and we continue forward by developing our knitted garments and techniques.
