Hand carved olivewood rolling pin by the Italian woodworker Andrea Brugi. Each rolling pin is one of a kind, and becomes more beautiful with age and use.

Based in Tuscany, Brugi's iconic olivewood boards and utensils are made from local olive trees, some of which are up to 1000 years old. The trees are protected and only felled when they no longer bear fruit.

Andrea Brugi Hand Carved Olivewood Rolling Pin (2 Sizes)

Brazilian artist Sergio Matos works alongside artisans from the indigenous Amazonian community of Barcelos to create these baskets. Piassava, a fiber derived from native Brazilian palm trees, is soaked in mud for 4 days to achieve the basket's dark organic color. The piassava is then braided using techniques that have been passed down through generations. Due to the handmade nature of these baskets, no two are exactly alike and the color varies slightly between baskets.
