Burning Instructions

Ensure your soy wax candle has the longest life possible by burning in 1.5 - 2 hour intervals or until the entire surface of the candle melts. This will prevent tunnelling, excess wax build up around the sides of the vessel, and will lead to an even clean burn and maximum scent throw.
Before lighting, trim candle wick to 1/4”. Keeping your wick at this length will avoid mushrooming which can result in unnecessary soot and smoke. This will also control the size of the flame giving you a longer burn time overall.
If soot does form on the inside of the candle vessel, first extinguish the candle, wait for it to cool, and then wipe the vessel with a clean damp cloth. Trim the wick and relight.
To extinguish your candle you may use a candle snuffer or gently blow the flame out. Use care to avoid splashing hot wax.
Never burn your candle all the way down. The flame and wick need a solid base of wax to avoid overheating your vessel. When a 1/4” of wax remains it is time to reuse or recycle your vessel. For soy candles use a spoon to scoop out the remaining wax and a cloth to wipe out and debris. Wash the jar with warm soapy water and if needed use rubbing alcohol to remove any greasy residue.
When candles are not in use store in a cool, dry environment and keep out of direct sunlight. Colors may fade or change over time
We advise to always burn your candle in a safe area, away from children, pets, and flammable objects.

How to wash and dry your down duvet:

Down duvets or comforters can be washed at home, as long as your washing machine and dryer are large enough to accommodate your duvet.
Use a mild detergent that is hypoallergenic and without dyes or perfumes
Use a delicate cycle with warm water. If dust mites are a concern, you may wash your duvet in hot water, but this should not be done too frequently.
Run an extra rinse and spin cycle to get rid of excess water.
Press out extra water using a towel, do not wring or twist your duvet.

Down duvets should be dried in a dryer that is large enough to accommodate your duvet.
Use a delicate cycle on low or medium heat. Drying can take several hours.
Be sure to dry your duvet completely before use.

Similar to Eiderdown, James Bay down clusters cling together for superb insulating power. James Bay’s huge down clusters actually cling together and so they must be hand-sorted and then cleaned. Similar to eiderdown, it tests at 700 loft, but since it has the same unique properties of cling and high density, it insulates as if it were a 900+ loft down. It is collected from wild geese in the Canadian North by Cree First Nations under special license from the Canadian Government. This down is even rarer than Eiderdown.

How to wash and dry your down duvet:

Down duvets or comforters can be washed at home, as long as your washing machine and dryer are large enough to accommodate your duvet.
Use a mild detergent that is hypoallergenic and without dyes or perfumes
Use a delicate cycle with warm water. If dust mites are a concern, you may wash your duvet in hot water, but this should not be done too frequently.
Run an extra rinse and spin cycle to get rid of excess water.
Press out extra water using a towel, do not wring or twist your duvet.

Down duvets should be dried in a dryer that is large enough to accommodate your duvet.
Use a delicate cycle on low or medium heat. Drying can take several hours.
Be sure to dry your duvet completely before use.

Similar to Eiderdown, James Bay down clusters cling together for superb insulating power. James Bay’s huge down clusters actually cling together and so they must be hand-sorted and then cleaned. Similar to eiderdown, it tests at 700 loft, but since it has the same unique properties of cling and high density, it insulates as if it were a 900+ loft down. It is collected from wild geese in the Canadian North by Cree First Nations under special license from the Canadian Government. This down is even rarer than Eiderdown.

How to care for your pillow:

Wash regular, standard, and queen pillows as pairs, wash king pillows individually. Use a pure, gentle soap; do not bleach. Use medium temperature water at the maximum water level with an extra rinse cycle. If water is left in the pillow after the extra rinse cycle, squeeze out the excess water. If you prefer to have your pillow professionally cleaned, choose a reputable cleaning establishment that has extensive experience with down pillow cleaning. Machine dry pillows individually at medium temperatures. After the first drying cycle, pull apart any clumps that have formed. Use a tumble dry setting for the following dry cycle.
