THE FIT

barton slim sits right on the hips. it's slim through the thigh and knee, size 31 has a 15" leg opening. please refer to the size chart for specs according to each size.

carrie's grandmother, imogene, had a great personal style: a mix of elegance and practicality. so it's fitting that imogene's namesake jean mixes 1940s traditions, with more feminine styles from the 70s.

inspired by a decades-old, time-worn vintage pair pulled from our archive. we worked carefully to develop a wash that perfectly reflects the rich patina typically achieved only through daily wear and regulated washing.
a washed jean with warm aged tones, berkley is finished by hand and sanded to reflect the abrasions and broken-down highlights that come with every day living.

on may 2nd, 2020, we released two rigid jeans sewn from the first premium selvage denim to be manufactured in the United States since 2017. now, for the second installment in our partnership with Vidalia Mills, we're back with a beautiful new selvage wash for women.
sewn from an amazing 3x1 fabric, which was loomed on the same Draper X3 shuttle looms that were restored from the legendary Cone Mills, with a washed-down orange selvage id.

harper has a high rise, relaxed hip, and a tapered leg with a beautiful "pitch": high in the front rise, yet even higher in the back rise.

hang your jeans up at night on your denim hook. this method gives your jean breathing room, and holds the shape of your body. putting your jeans back on in the morning will become so easy.
hold out as long as you can to wash, but do not be afraid to wash. when you wash, turn your jean inside out. either soak your jean in the tub with a drop of mild detergent, or wash in the machine on cold. after, hang to dry. and don’t be afraid of a quick no- to low-heat tumble to soften her back up.

so we went to work with emil congdon (founder) to put together a small collection of leather accessories for everyday use. sourcing premium quality horween leather and solid brass hardware from U.S. based companies with the absolute highest standards.

HOW WE MEASURE

first off, grab your favorite t-shirt, a measuring tape, and find a flat surface to measure on. lay the tee out flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove all slack.
neck : the width of neck opening from left neck seam to right neck seam at the shoulder's highest point.
shoulder : the width from left to right where sleeve meets shoulder seam.
chest : the width of chest, starting 1" below the armhole.
sleeve : the length of the outside of the sleeve from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff.
length : the length from where the shoulder meets neck to the bottom of the hem, measured from the front of the garment.

Emil Erwin recommends to size your belt as follows:
if you wear men's clothing, order your pant size. if you wear women's clothing, order one size up (e.g. if you wear a 32, order a 34.)
the most accurate way to determine your sizing is to measure your waist through your belt loops while wearing your pants and no belt. take this measurement and subtract 4. this number will be your belt size.
