Note: These candles are NOT dripless. Use them with proper precautions or soak them in saltwater to make them dripless before you burn them. First, dissolve salt into warm water until it won’t dissolve any more salt. Then submerge your candles into this mixture and allow them to soak for 24 hours. Take them out and dry them off completely before you use them!

Whaaat? Cork Ottoman? Yep. Never seen cork as an actual material before? Neither had we but let me tell ya, it's more awesome than you can imagine.
First of all, it feels like leather but it's obviously made from cork. The thickness of it is about the same as leather so it has the same weight, hand, softness, and flexibility of leather while being 100% Vegan and incredibly eco-friendly. And, not only is it vegan but it is stain-resistant, water-resistant, scratch-proof, hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, lightweight, incredibly soft, and is also resistant to abrasion, fire, and water. We hope you don't need to worry about potential fire and water damage but the abrasion resistance is...an excellent selling point? ;-)
In all seriousness, when we first saw this fabric, our jaws dropped. It's lovely and we love the visual texture it adds to a room.

Caring for your handmade planter:
Since these are raw (porous) terracotta and they will patina over time, we recommend that you do not plant directly inside of them if you want the pots to stay the same forever. We love the patina but we understand that some may not. With that said, you may also seal the interior of the pot with a stone sealer found at your local hardware store. However, if you do seal them, the terracotta will lose its porous quality and that isn’t as good for your plant roots. They will work beautifully with a nursery pot placed directly inside of them and that’s the best way to slow any patina (watermarks & soil marks) while allowing the roots to breathe. No matter what you decide, you’re going to love these!
