One of the most sculptural plants with its large and elegant leaves. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Turn a Fiddle Leaf frequently to keep it growing straight. We have a variety of different Ficus Lyratas from "little fiddles" with tinier leaves to wide broad leaf bush shaped specimens. If you have a requested shape, please make a note on your order and we will do our best to accommodate.

LIGHT: Bright indirect light. Insufficient light causes small leaves and leaf drop. Too much sun causes the leaves of a Fiddle Leaf Fig to fade and lose their dark green color.
WATER: Allow the top 30% of topsoil to dry out and the leaves to become soft and flexible before watering.
POTTING: All-purpose organic potting soil and a well draining pot situation is ideal. Like all Ficus Trees, this variety likes being root-bound in small pots.
TEMPERATURE: 60-80° Keep away from air conditioners, drafts, and heating vents. Intense cold or heat causes leaf drop.

TOXICITY: Plant is toxic and should be kept away from pets and children.
NOTES: Spray leaves every other week with warm soapy water or a mixture of neem oil to ward off plant pests. Spraying the leaves also keeps them dust free and clean so they can absorb more light.

Asparagus ferns are not true ferns, but instead, belong in the asparagus family. They are native to South Africa and fairly hardy despite their delicate appearance.

LIGHT: Grown best in bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Lower light levels may cause yellow fronds, thus ferns should be rotated frequently.
WATER: Allow the top 10% of the soil to dry before watering. Yellow stems generally indicate the need for more water. Brown stems usually indicate overwatering. This plant can tolerate drought slightly better than other ferns. Plants require more water in the spring-summer and less in the fall-winter.

This unique looking succulent is native to Africa. It is not a true cactus, but a member of the Euphorbia family, related to a Poinsettia. All parts of this plant are extremely toxic.

LIGHT : This plant can adapt to part sun, but some direct sun is beneficial and often enhances the color of some varieties.
WATER : This plant is very drought tolerant, especially in the winter. Spring and summer allow the top 50% of soil to dry between waterings, approximately every two to three weeks. Fall and winter allow the soil to dry completely, maybe once per month. Shriveled leaves indicate that the plant needs more water.
FERTILIZER : Spring and summer fertilizer 1x/month with a balanced houseplant fertilizer at half strength.
TEMPERATURE : Prefers warmer temperatures in the 65-85 degree F range. Can tolerate temperatures to 50 degrees F in the winter if given very little water.
TOXICITY : Very poisonous plant. The sap is extremely toxic.

The soft cowhide lather has a luxurious soft touch. Postalco leather is colored using aniline dyes. Aniline dyes soak into the leather leaving visible the natural variation in grain and texture. The more aniline dyed leather is used, the better the surface patina gets over time. Each skin is different: a faint stripe-like pattern, called ‘tora’ in Japanese is a natural effect due to the way the dye soaks in to the various parts of the skin. Each skins ‘tora’ is different. Veg tanned and Aniline dyed leather is more time consuming and therefore expensive, but produces beautiful leathers.

Wrapped with Pressed Cotton Fabric for durability. The fabric is made with the same machines used to make tent fabric. The base color of the white threads will become more apparent and it will soften with use. To keep the natural feeling of the material, no waterproof coating was applied. There is a light water resistant treatment. Cotton is a natural material so slubs and irregularity in the fibers are part of its character. It is possible for wrinkles to appear as well.
