The Lasso Mirror Collection by Axel Bjurström has reduced all elements of a wall-hung mirror to their bare essentials, assembled in a unified and functional design. The mirror is fastened with a rope that is threaded through two inserts on a metal plate on the back, and then secured to the knob with a special set-up. Three spacers keep the mirror flush to the wall.

Past and present fuse together in the Anse Vase. Made from a special, rustic clay, the vase’s raw sand color and rough texture is pleasantly contrasted by its clean, conical shape. A set of hand-formed handles recalling traditional pottery completes the unified expression. Please note: Marks and variations in the clay may occur due to the natural raw material. The shape of the handles may vary slightly, due to the handmade process.

The SAS Royal Hotel is considered Arne Jacobsen's masterpiece. Completed in 1960, it was the tallest skyscraper in Copenhagen at the time and for many it remains the epitome of modernity. The hotel has now commissioned Space Copenhagen to design something new for the hotel rooms. "The facade is the iconic face of the building," says Signe. "We were fascinated by the light both outside the building and inside the rooms. Seeing the constant shift of reflections from the facade is truly distinctive to the hotel." As Peter sees it, "We also wanted to somehow incorporate the views of the city from the top floors. There is a horizontal sequence of windows running from one edge to another. We wanted to echo that aspect inside the rooms, as well." And the name? In a world of vanity, Signe and Peter from Space Copenhagen wanted a kind gesture and a hint of humor. With a sincere wish that when we look in the mirror, at our space or ourselves, that we like what we see.

The turn of the 19th century was a period of evolution and growth in terms of Royal Copenhagen dinnerware. The artistic director at that time redesigned the blue fluted pattern and introduced a number of new additions including the White Fluted Half Lace. The Fluted design was given an elegant lace demi-border, creating a romantic service.

Blue Fluted Mega is both comfortingly familiar and surprisingly refreshing. In this unusual reinterpretation of the blue fluted pattern, selected details have been enlarged but are still painted by hand, preserving the original and unique vivid blue effect. The Blue Fluted Mega pattern was created by the young design student Karen Kjaeldgard-Larsen in 2000, signaled the beginning of a new adventure. The famous hand-painted pattern has become a household name again, expressing both its historical authenticity and creative, innovative thinking.
