Finn Juhl designed the table for his and Niels Vodder's stand at the Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1948, which they named "An Art Collector's Study". House of Finn Juhl found this stand particularly intriguing, inspiring the company to create "An Art Collector's Study Anno 2018" for the Salone del Mobile exhibition this year in Milan. At the fair, the 48 Chair and the 48 Sofa Bench were relaunched. Now half a year later, House of Finn Juhl has chosen to relaunch yet another design from Finn Juhl's well-curated 1948-stand.
Even though the small table was a part of Finn Juhl's watercolours, depicting the composition of the stand - as well as the fact that detailed sketches revolving around the shape of the table exist, it cannot be spotted in any of the photographs from the 1948-exhibition. One can only guess as to why the table itself never made it into production. However, a rather qualified guess is that it became too intricate and time consuming for master joiner Niels Vodder to produce at the time. Even today the production is an advanced process, with very low degrees of tolerance and where precision in every detail is vital to the design as a whole.

Carl Hansen&Son is expanding its Børge Mogensen collection with a flexible storage system that has never been in production before. In collaboration with Børge Mogensen's family, Carl Hansen&Son has given life to the furniture designer's forgotten drawings. The result is an expandable shelving system that can be rebuilt, built on and adapted to individual storage needs and changing room sizes.

The flexible and multifunctional shelving system is the embodiment of simplicity with its veneered shelves of varying sizes and a wooden cabinet, all of which can be assembled using a frame made of cylindrical metal bars of different lengths. The shelves and cabinet module can be combined according to your needs, and the blend of open and closed modules creates a rhythmic and transparent expression.

The Swan sofa was made as a special model for the furnishing of suites, lounges and the panoramic restaurant at the SAS hotel in 1958. The sofa was in production from 1964-1974 and was reintroduced in 2000. The characteristic 3-dimensional shape contains no straight lines but is based on curves like the Egg and the Swan. It is available in a variety of fabric upholstery as well as exclusive leather types. The sofa rests on a shaker base in satin polished aluminum.

The Danish designer Erik Ole Jorgensen’s style is simplicity combined with a great understanding for the tactile qualities of textiles and furniture. With its high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, the EJ 315 sofa and chair presents Danish design at its best. The upholstery has been carried out with beautiful precision and the back of the sofa is adorned with no less than 180 hand-sewn buttons. Designed in 1975, the EJ 315 still stands as the archetype of a Danish box sofa. The sofa can be designed uniquely with buttons in a contrast colour, in either textile or leather, as well as the legs being available in various types of wood and processing.

The Mariposa Sofa radiates an inviting aura of spacious comfort  and yet maintains a subtly understated presence thanks to its balanced proportions. The sofa owes its extraordinary comfort, on the one hand, to the pleasantly soft upholstery, which completely surrounds the sitter and prevents contact with any hard structural elements. On the other hand, an ingenious adjustment mechanism makes it possible to individually tilt the side and backrest elements for various sitting or reclining positions.
The Mariposa Sofa does not openly display its functional features: the slim side and back elements can be continuously and silently adjusted, from an upright position to an outward angle of approximately 30° and back again. The resistance is calibrated in such a way that the supporting panels stay in place when the sitter leans back in a normal manner, but will adjust to the desired angle when intentional pressure is applied. This flexibility allows individual users to determine the position that is most comfortable for them. Thanks to the unusual depth of the seat surface, two people can sit on either end and comfortably face each other  to carry on a conversation or share a cosy spot for reading. Three-seat sofa with frame in chrome-plated steel. The FK 6720 3-seat sofa is being produced with steel from 1968. The steel was found at the factory, where the chairs originally were produced. The Loose cushions are in analin leather.
The furniture is produced at the same factory and with the same tools used in the 1960s to make the original furniture. The entire production is carried out in close collaboration between Lange Production and Jorgen Kastholm.

From that cocktail, Simon Legald has created a contemporary collection of storage furniture, interpreting the classic roll-front cabinet. The Jalousi collection, which consists of a sideboard and cabinets in two different sizes, is characterised by its minimalist idiom and a contrasting mix of materials.
