Inspired by Danish hygge, designer Simon Legald has created the Hyg furniture series. When the series was introduced in 2018, it consisted of a 2-seater sofa, lounge chairs and a footstool. In 2020, the range expands with a chair and barstool that share the characteristics of the lounge series: the hearty, organic curves designed with a focus on sublime comfort.
The concept of hygge is all about feeling good – security, warmth and comfort all form part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that provide the template for the Hyg collection. With the new models, the range – and the coziness – further unfolds, and new possibilities arise of creating coherent environments with both dining and lounge areas. "The moments where we sit down together, immerse ourselves in conversation and share a meal – for me this is where the feeling of hygge really peaks. Thus, it seemed only natural that the Hyg range should also provide the setting for moments like these. The feeling of hygge is not only linked to the visual experience of the design; it lies in the overall sensuous experience. A lot of effort has gone into sculpting the shape to provide rest and support for the human body, to make it comfortable to sit in, basically.", Simon Legald tells us.

"I wanted to design a low-slung sofa that is simple, elegant, and comfortable" says designer Mika Tolvanen. It is a balance between thin and thick parts which looks as good from the back as from the front and side.

The Yuh Wall Lamp provides direct glare-free downward directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. A slim opening in the top of the shade provides soft, ambient upward illumination. A mechanical system provides great freedom of movement, so the light can always be set in the ideal position in the workspace, living room etc. Build-in LED technology provides a high quality of light with stepless dimming at 15 to 100%. Timer function to automatically turn off the light after amount of time, selectable between off/4 hours/8 hours. Function to set a fixed light level each time the lamp is connected to main power. The switch and dimmer button is placed on the wall box. The Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi designed Yuh for Louis Poulsen in 2017. Initially launched in black and white, the family was extended with editions featuring brass and marble. One of the essential features of the lamp is to be personal. The light is flexible and taking up little space. It can rotate, rise and lower, illuminating and creating ambience in the desired area. The form of the shade is determined geometrically from the movement that it performs on the stem. A minimalistic appearance created from a circular shape at the bottom to a linear opening at the top of the shade. The name Yuh is the phonetic form of ‘you’, the letters representing the sound made by the voice to say “you”.

The PH 2/1 Pendant Lamp is a member of the of the PH 3-shade family principles, which were developed in the winter of 1925-26 for a large exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark called "Forum". The PH 2/1 Pendant Lamp provides a primarily upward illumination. It is based on the principle of a reflecting multi-shade system, creating a harmonious and glare free illumination. All handblown opal glass shades are sandblasted on the undersides for uniform light distribution.

Horizon is a collection of wall mirrors in varying geometric shapes that all have a steel shelf integrated into the design. The shelf serves as a practical place to put things on, at the same time creating a beautiful visual effect. The Horizon wall mirrors are the perfect hybrid between functionality and aesthetics. The Flow table lamp has a simple and flowing design, in which all of the lamp’s parts grow smoothly into each other, just like the branches on a tree. “I was inspired by the idea of creating a LED table lamp that radiates lightness and agility.
