The Mission is a modern interpretation of the classic London sofa, with upholstered sides of the same height as the back. The sofa's slim body makes it easy to place - especially in urban homes where space is limited.
Loose back and seat cushions ensure optimum comfort, whether a person is sitting, lying or conversing on the sofa. The Mission's styling affords a host of upholstery options; e.g. smooth or coarsely woven textiles in either classic or modern colors allows a personal touch.
Mr. Yuzuru Nishiyama is a well-known person on the Japanese furniture design scene, and contributed the details, lines and styling, while Mr. Jens Juul Eilersen and the company Eilersen used their design and expertise in furniture production to make the vision a reality. Together they have created a fruitful partnership, gained invaluable insight into each other's traditions and, not least, created a common signature.

Rocket Bar Stool has a strong, playful character. Hans J. Wegner designed this series in the early 70s with the Danish firm Johannes Hansen, producing a limited number at that time. While there has been no production since then, a few pieces have appeared in auctions during recent years and their rarity and beauty have kept prices high. Carl Hansen & Son was chosen by the Hans J Wegner Studio to relaunch the series on the occasion of Carl Hanson & Son's 100th anniversary in 2008 (hence the series name CH100).

A rug is a great way to define a space and through color and form create a sense of coherence between the furniture and accessories in a room. In beautiful burnt hues, the Borders Kelim Rug redefines traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with our design language with a strong sense for geometric shapes and extraordinary color blocking. Our Kelim Rugs are hand-made why the weaving from rug to rug may differ slightly. The weaving technique is 'Punja' loom – a traditional and manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. Also, the wool yarn is hand-dyed, and some shade variation may occur due to the nature of wool and dye. The Kelim weave and the wool yarns have a unique, coarse feel. This is part of the characteristic of the traditional kelim rugs.

The Mater Sophie Mirror is an elegant and simple new range of mirrors, combining leather and wood. The shape and design is inspired by old barrels and comes in three different sizes and stains of sustainably harvested mango wood, in either black or tan leather. The hand-hammered nails resemble the craftsmanship of traditional barrel making, which originally helped keep the hoops in place. The spacing around the mirror creates a light and optical illusion of a floating mirror.

"In typical Jaime Hayon style, these Paper Lanterns challenge convention," notes &tradition Brand Manager Martin Kornbek Hansen. "Seen in an ultra light pendant lamp of rice paper, echoing ancient lanterns from Asia - reinvented in a modern aesthetic." Dating back centuries, paper lanterns have featured in Asia amongst the privileged and the poor, where different colors, shapes and sizes connote different meanings. Here Hayon has dispensed with cultural formalities to create a series of lanterns all in white. Hand crafted with rice paper merging various sizes and shapes together. "Lamps play such an important role in people's lives," explains Hayon. "For some cultures, they chase away the darkness by bringing hope. I've tried to keep this emotional angle about light, in a lamp that also appears light. By making the bottom part of the lamp open, the idea is to bring even more illumination to people everywhere in the world." The Paper Lantern series is comprised of three different versions in ivory white rice paper with black stained oak accents in sizes from 46 cm in diameter to 70 cm. Each weighing only 1 kilo, they hang delicately in any indoor setting. Living proof that when East and West meet, the past becomes the present in a poetic expression of both.

One of GUBI's most innovative products, the GUBI Chair, is designed by Boris Berlin and Poul Christiansen of Komplot Design. The GUBI Chair is the first furniture design to be based on the innovative technique of moulding three-dimensional veneer. The 3D design gives the chair a comfortable seat and sense of lightness – with all edges pointing away from the user. Due to this ground breaking technology, the thickness of the veneer is allowed to be reduced to half than normally used. The GUBI chair was designed in 2003 and has won several prestigious design awards and is included in the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

Introducing Lucca, a multipurpose piece that easily transitions from indoors to outside.
Defined by an elegant, soft shape and dark curving lines around the base and handle, Lucca is a portable and dimmable lamp that produces a welcoming, homey ambience and can fit any space and purpose - be it indoors, or out.
The lamp's outer shell, built out of satinized opal glass, diffuses the light into a soft and warming glow, and on the base, a discreet dimmer allows for three different settings to match lighting to mood. Powered by a battery, the lamp operates for 12 hours at the highest setting and is easily recharged with a USB cable, meaning that it can be carried around the home for some added ambience, or taken outdoors during warmer evenings.
Behind the design are Space Copenhagen founders Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rutzou, who found inspiration in cities and towns across the Mediterranean. They were fascinated by the distinct golden glow that illuminates the narrow, winding roads of picturesque costal towns and of quaint countryside villages at night, and wanted to recreate that same dreamy atmosphere through an elegant, portable lamp.

"Our Lucca lamp is a simple yet elegant lamp that was inspired by the intriguing atmosphere we experienced in the Mediterraean," notes Henriksen. "Use it both as a classic lamp or as a substitute for candlelight, in the house, the garden, or the terrace."

The designers named the piece after the historic northern Tuscan city of Lucca, a word that resembles the Italian term for "light" - luce.

Originally introduced in the 1950s, the Doo-Wop Pendant was designed in close cooperation between the Navy Buildings Department and Louis Poulsen. The pendant was used for many years in the builidngs of the Navy for many different applications such as cateens and offices. The Navy Pendant, which was the name at that time, was widely used because of the unique lighting properties and utility. Not until the early 1980th the product was taken out of the Louis Poulsen catalogues. In recent years, more and more of the old editions have been sold again through antique stores and auctions. This has caused a demand and Louis Poulsen has been asked to re-launch the products. The new version is very close to the original. The shades are still and spun by hand and completed with the fine rolled edge which gives the shades a special opticial volume. The brass variant challenges the craftsman as it is spun from a solid brass plate and appears polished.
The fixture primarily provides a downward directed soft light by means of the white lacquered inner conical reflector. The outer reflector, the main shade, contributes to directing the light up- and downwards, while at the same time spreading the soft diffuse light. The inside of the main shade is illuminated through an opening in the inner conical reflector.

As a little revolt in a digital world, Simon Legald has designed the magazine rack Analog. Analog has a modern and underplayed design, which allows beautiful printed matter to come into its own.
Oddly enough, the inspiration for Analog is taken from the digital world. The magazine rack’s hole-patterned sides are inspired by the computer equipment of the 90’s that had similar perforations for cooling down the electronics.
While the details have a nostalgic nod to technology, the shape is classic: two separate compartments and practical handles form the basis for the design. The industrial, coated steel gives the rack a modern and masculine expression. With Analog, Simon Legald has created an unpretentious magazine rack that possesses a free and easy sense of coolness.

Designed specifically for Menu Space, the dining chair is ideal for anything from restaurants, conferences, offices, or in the comfort of one's own home.
A hybrid space that mixes office, showroom, caf‚àö¬©, co-working and event space in One, Menu Space required a chair that could suit a range of purposes. Finding a perfect balance between geometry and organic shapes, the shell's armrests bend outwards for maximum support, as does its high backrest, providing not only comfort, but also an elegant and slim appearance that will appeal to any discerning design aficionado.
