The VL38 table lamp was originally designed in the late 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for the construction of the Radiohuset building (the Danish broadcasting house) in Copenhagen (today the Royal Danish Academy of Music). Vilhelm Lauritzen’s lamp design, VL38 and the pendant VL45 both designed for Radiohuset, started to appear in Louis Poulsen catalogues after World War 2 in the middle of the 1940s. VL38 in white/brass was relaunched in fall 2016. To accommodate contemporary advances in light technology and energy efficiency the fixtures have been fitted with LED. The black edition of the VL38 introduced fall 2017 has a stronger outline than the original white version, though maintaining the loved retro look and the soft, curvy expression of the original design.

The Georg collection, designed by Chris L. Halstrom, is inspired by the need to store, hang and drop things off in the hallway of a home. In 1953 Helge Sibast designed the chair Sibast No 8. A Danish design classic, which was part of the Danish design wave in the 1950’s and 60’s, and was sold around the world. Lena Bergström’s Björk collection is based on the natural shifting tones of wool. The expression in the woven structure is inspired by the black and white trunk of the birch tree (‘Björk’ in Swedish) and the leather represents the inside of the bark. The Björk collection consists of rugs in four sizes, ‘homebags’ or storage baskets in three sizes, and stools in two sizes. The Björk collection is based on a weft in wool, combined with details in leather. Wool is known not only for its softness, but also for its built-in resistance to soiling thanks to its natural oils. The design of the table is simple and elegant with a leg frame resembling how water lilies and plates balance. The unique construction makes MONDAY an interesting design item in itself, as well as a practical piece of furniture.

The PH 5 Mini, with a diameter of 30 cm, is a scaled down version of the iconic PH 5 (50 cm in diameter). Poul Henningsen developed the PH 5 in 1958 in response to constant changes to the shape and size of incandescent bulbs by bulb manufacturers. The PH 5 was introduced as a classic new product, and no one knew at the time that it would eventually become synonymous with the PH light. Irrespective of how the light is installed or the light source used, the PH 5 is and remains completely glare-free. The pendant was christened PH 5 due to the 50 cm diameter of the main shade. Poul Henningsen wanted to improve the colour reproduction characteristics of the light source in the PH 5. Small red and blue shades were therefore inserted to supplement the colour in the part of the spectrum where the eye is least sensitive – the red and blue areas – thereby subduing the light in the middle yellow-green region where the eye is most sensitive. The PH 5 design has been regularly updated as light sources have developed. Like the PH 5, the PH 5 Mini is available in the classic white version, a modern white model and in six colour versions, where the colour is darkest at the top and gradually lightens moving down from shade to shade. The struts are purple on the ‘classic’ model and bronze-coloured on the other seven versions. The reflector ring colour contrasts with the other hues. To celebrate the 60th anniversary in 2018 of this beloved pendant, Louis Poulsen released the PH 5 and PH 5 Mini in an edition that pairs copper shades and white tiers – and in 2019 with brass shades. The new metallic-and-white combination highlights Henningsen’s shade system design and adds new dynamism to one of his most recognised forms, with the mirror-like metal tiers reflecting their surroundings. The metal shades a untreated and will patinate over time.

The Flindt Wall brings expressive illumination and thoughtful design to indoor and outdoor spaces. Based on a carved-out concept, the wall-mounted Flindt Wall continues the elegant form language in the shape of a circle.

The idea behind the color rankings comes from the experience of colors in circular motions where they often are perceived as continuous lines. The shape is inspired by the well-known onion shaped domes on several of the buildings in the TIVOLI garden. The KAISER idell collection comes in different variants; pendant, table-, wall- and oor lamps. KAISER idell is original Bauhaus design. The series is based on a world-patented swivel joint and the characteristic dome embossed with "ORIGINAL KAISER-idell". The lamps are made of steel and brass and the lampshades are painted in high gloss or matt (only available in black). The chrome-plated elements consist of polished and silver-soldered brass. The table lamp model 6631 "Luxus" appeared for the first time in 1936, when Gebr. Kaiser & Co. introduced it. Characteristic for the Luxus lamp is its broad shade and curvy shape. Despite the somewhat cold materials used, such as steel and brass, the design is warm and curvaceous.
