Hans J. Wegner’s work was characterized by an innovative and organic approach to the art of designing. Queen was designed by Wegner in the late 1960s and is, to this day, still one of his most elegant armchairs. As the name suggests, this sofa was designed in 1946. The sofa was manufactured by the upholsterer Carl Brørup in his workshop in Copenhagen.
As a young man, Finn Juhl had a dream of becoming an art historian. During the 1930s and 1940s he had been strongly influenced by modern art, which was the main reason his designs took on such organic shapes with almost human-like features. He worked from the core and outwards in similar fashion to that of a surrealist artist, and was inspired by the freedom from convention reflected in art.

At the Cabinetmakers' Guild's Autumn Exhibition in 1943, Wegner presented his first version of a chair inspired by an old Chinese chair, which he had seen at the Danish Museum of Industrial Arts. Since then, more versions have appeared. The prototype for PP 56 was developed in cooperation with PP Møbler, and went into production in 1989. The Chinese Chair became a cornerstone for Wegner in his early line of designs inspired by foreign cultures. Completing at least seven individual prototypes of Chinese inspired chairs, Wegner worked intensely on modernising the traditional concept, and eventually The Chinese Chair evolved into the Round One, also called The Chair. pp66 was designed in 1945 and became the quintessential modern outcome of Wegner's studies of Chinese chairs. The pp56 version with the upholstered seat for a softer sitting experience was added in 1989. This chair has a high and comfortable back, an upholsered seat for a softer seat-ing experience which makes it very suitable for meeting rooms, and full length low armrests that fits well under-neath the table top.The center board is moulded with a bend high enough to offer proper support for the lower back.

The AJ-25-SU Charlottenborg Lounge chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen and handmade in Indonesian sustainable rattan. The chair is made in the colour natural which is original and suitable for every occasion. The fine bindings in the seat and back are made by skilled wicker workers. This charismatic armchair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1936 and shown for the first time at Charlottenborg's spring exhibition in 1937. Originally called the Chair AJ 237 and was part of a series of original wicker chairs. The curving shapes became very characteristic of Arne Jakobsen's many famous chair designs, which can be traced in some of his early pieces of furniture. The armchair has a quite unconventional shape, where the elegant curved back of solid rattan goes in one with the armrests, both of which are beautifully integrated into the bottom of the chair. In addition to the rattan frame, the chair is fitted with a firm padded seat that comes in many different durable fabric variants. The elegant and comfortable chair is a beautiful contribution to any modern sofa. In fact, the Charlottenborg chair was reportedly Arne Jacobsen's favourite armchair in his famous cottage on the Bay of Sails. The chair is made in the material Manau & Tohiti. Sibast No 7 Lounge takes its inspiration from the Sibast No 7 dining chair designed in 1953 by Helge Sibast. Now more than 60 years later the grandson of Helge Sibast, Ditlev Sibast interpreted the Sibast No 7 dining chair and together with his wife Anna he designed the Sibast No 7 Lounge chair.
Using the unique details from the Sibast No 7 like the large press moulded backrest and the slightly narrowed curve of the back legs Ditlev and Anna Sibast transformed the dining chair into the unique Sibast No 7 Lounge chair. Still carrying on the high quality craftsmanship and the relations represented by their family design heritage from the 1950s.

"The In Between Table is a thing of beauty," says Martin Kornbek Hansen, the founder of &Tradition, "the solid oak table is beautifully crafted to produce a contemporary dining table, making it a natural extension of the In Between collection." The In Between chair was the first chair to be added to the &Tradition stable of furniture and Kallio has reinterpreted certain aspects of the chair in the creation of the table. The curvature of the circular table is for example reminiscent of the negative space in the form of the chair's back rest. Similarly the angles of the legs of the table reflect the angles of the chair legs.

Over centuries, the plinth has been a much mused-over object. With this project Danish studio Norm Architects set out to rethink the uses of the plinth and to reveal the natural beauty of marble. The result is a series of podiums with multiple uses in the home, office or showroom. Plinth is available three sizes. The low rectangular version is ideal as a monumental coffee table. The cube makes a perfect bedside table or side table. Use the third Plinth in the traditional manner, as a podium on which to display a bust, sculpture, art books, plants or a lamp.

The beautiful and timeless JEWEL TABLE was designed in 2013 by the Danish architect Søren Juul, who had a lifelong experience within both architecture and design. He worked for the renowned Danish architect company Friis & Moltke for almost four decades. The first meeting between Søren Juul and dk3 was in the summer 2012 at a Danish fair, where Søren got in contact with dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup and introduced some sketches of a table he had made long ago. And just by briefly looking at the lines of the first drawings, it was obvious to Jacob Plejdrup, that this was a project he wanted to see brought to life.Søren Juul's favourite form was the cube, which could be seen both in his private home and in a lot of his work. Therefore, it was evident that the JEWEL TABLE should have a cubic base, made of one entire, plain steel frame. The name JEWEL emerged, when Jacob Plejdrup tried to pronounce Søren Juul's last name in English. "Juul" became JEWEL, and the table is indeed a true jewel with its cubic-formed steel frame and the soft, sloping edge of the Table Top. Sadly, Søren Juul never lived to see the table be launched, but his brilliant design ideas live on in the JEWEL TABLE and in all his other works.

Conceived by Verner Panton in 1960, the Panton chair was developed for serial production in collaboration with Vitra (1967). Today, the all-plastic chair is an icon of twentieth-century design. It has received numerous international design awards and is present in the collections of many prominent museums. It is available in a choice of bold and subdued colors.
