The PK24 chaise lounge chair, with its easy curves and organic shape, stands out as perhaps the most recognizable chair in Poul Kjaerholm's work. Inspiration for this chair comes from the Rococo period and the French chaise lounge - long chair - that featured the same curve and size. The chair is a prime and almost extreme example of Kjaerholm's principle of designing with independent elements. Consequently, the chair has no physical connection between the main parts, which are instead kept together by gravity and the friction between the elements. Kjaerholm also labelled the PK24 the "Hammock Chair" to stress that the chair functioned by suspending the body between two points.
The PK24 chaise lounge is available in a limited range of leather types or wicker. Both versions include a leather headrest. The base is made of satin brushed stainless steel.

GamFratesi designed the Epic Coffee Table for GUBI as a sculptural piece of furniture inspired by Greek columns and Roman architecture and named after the epic poems of ancient times. Made in Italy from travertine stone, the monolithic form emphasizes the materiality of the stone, the natural beauty of its veins, and the vibrant texture of its unique patina – in which a new detail can be discovered with every use.
Inspired by historical examples of travertine constructions such as the Colosseum and Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, and the 1970s revival of the material in Southern Europe, the table combines two simple geometric shapes, the circle and the hexagon, with references to the classical Greek column.
Stone options in Neutral White, Vibrant Gray or colorful Burnt Red each create a focal point of differing intensity, bringing personality to private settings and naturalness and tactility to public interior spaces. The varying heights and diameters within the Epic Table Series mean a single monochromatic table can stand alone or be combined in dynamic clusters of varying height and color.

In creating his new, fully upholstered lounge chair, Nick Ross envisioned a form ideal for exclusive hotel, club or lounge environments, as well as private living spaces that indulge the senses and our need for comfortable retreats. Ross' inspiration for the design came from Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Willow Chair, created for the Willow Tearooms in Glasgow in 1904. Like many of Mackintosh's furniture designs, the Willow Chair, while undoubtedly beautiful, is more about visual impact than comfort, its unusual dimensions making it more of a sculptural installation than a piece of usable furniture. Seeing untapped potential, Ross opted to evolve the essence of the Willow Chair to create a more fully resolved product.

The inner spaces of the sofa are designed in sizes allowing for a comfortable seating position without limiting the freedom of movement and the freedom to stretch your legs. The soft shapes of the upholstery are deliciously inviting and, also, constitute a marked contrast to the sofa's exterior of more simple and geometrical forms. The interior belongs to the occupant and the exterior belongs to the room.

TOM is a unique pouf that fits under an elegant coffee table – function and style united in a new and innovative product concept. If you need the pouf or an additional seat, you can simply take it out. If not, the pouf fits under the table and creates an additional storage place for magazines, cell phones, remotes and other small accessories. The soft shape is inspired by antique barrel drums from Asia and adds a modern touch to the room.

"Tables are where people exchange ideas, express emotions and connect with each other," explains Spanish artist / designer Jaime Hayon. "As a multi-purpose object, why not design a multi-tiered table where different sizes, shapes, colors and materials converge together? Like one of Alexander Calder's kinetic sculptures. Various shapes suspended in air but kept in place, supported by a metal armature. Creating a curious equilibrium that resembles a mobile - only static."
At first glance, each Hayon Lounge table is a lesson in geometry. One version features a round shape coupled with a hexagon together with an elongated oval. Another version has a painter's palette shape, while another version juxtaposes a rounded rectangle with an elongated oval and a circle. Each table is a composition of three distinctive shapes beautifully balanced at different heights which form a unified whole.

Hans J. Wegner's three-legged shell chair was originally designed in 1963, a few limited series were produced, but the project soon came to a stand still. The 90s brought a growing interest in chairs of more individual designs and Carl Hansen & Son relaunched the CH07 in 1997.

The furniture is produced at the same factory and with the same tools used in the 1960s to make the original furniture. The entire production is carried out in close collaboration between Lange Production and Jorgen Kastholm.

Feeling quite confident about the strength and agility of the pp66 Chinese Chair, Wegner was bold enough to develop the construction by designing a bench thus creating an even stronger character. For Wegner this is the only example of this kind of progression of shape and design, from wooden armchair to bench, and thus the Chinese Bench remains a unique and extraordinary accomplishment.
The Chinese Bench remained a prototype until 1991 when it was finally possible to put it into production, thanks to the pioneering experiments at PP Møbler with the pre-compression wood bending technique.
Still the Chinese Bench poses a great challenge to even the most skilled craftsmen, not merely because of the woodwork, but also because the long paper cord seat demands an unusual degree of accuracy in order to appear linear.

The word ‘Pepo’ can mean pumpkin, squash or melon, and the reference is readily apparent in the full-bodied form of the Pepo jars.
