The Lily™ was originally designed for the Danish National Bank. The first model was 3108 from 1968, and the chair was introduced to the market with arms, model 3208, at the Danish Furniture Fair in 1970. The chair is made from laminated sliced veneer and is the result of an extremely complicated moulding process that ensures the perfect curves and the best comfort.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Lily™, the last chair Arne Jacobsen ever designed, we are now relaunching the original version in walnut veneer.
Each anniversary chair will feature a special tag mounted underneath the chair.

The Grand Prix™ chair is a chair with graphic edge. It was introduced at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957. Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition. Inspired by Danish hygge, designer Simon Legald has created the Hyg furniture series. When the series was introduced in 2018, it consisted of a 2-seater sofa, lounge chairs and a footstool. In 2020, the range expands with a chair and barstool that share the characteristics of the lounge series: the hearty, organic curves designed with a focus on sublime comfort.
The concept of hygge is all about feeling good – security, warmth and comfort all form part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that provide the template for the Hyg collection. With the new models, the range – and the coziness – further unfolds, and new possibilities arise of creating coherent environments with both dining and lounge areas. "The moments where we sit down together, immerse ourselves in conversation and share a meal – for me this is where the feeling of hygge really peaks. Thus, it seemed only natural that the Hyg range should also provide the setting for moments like these. The feeling of hygge is not only linked to the visual experience of the design; it lies in the overall sensuous experience. A lot of effort has gone into sculpting the shape to provide rest and support for the human body, to make it comfortable to sit in, basically.", Simon Legald tells us.

The F chair is a contemporary shaker chair based on the virtues of traditional craft. It carries on the folksy simplicity and honesty of the archetypical shaker chair, but with a modern comfort and a clean- cut, geometrical and minimalistic appearance. Danish furniture artist/designer Rasmus Baekkel Fex and Brdr. Kruger have reinterpreted the design of the shaker chair in a close cooperation and shared aspiration to explore archetypes and materials with an open mind. The outcome is a modern ascetic take on tradition, where wooden craftsmanship and woodturning skills are contrasted with a seat constructed from industrial polyester webbing or natural paper cord, hand-weaved to create a bespoke geometrical pattern. The seat changes character as it reflects the surrounding light while the embracing wooden backrest invites you to sit down and enjoy the chair for its simplest function and comfort. While the F chair has found its final expression in the workshop of Brdr. Kruger, the design originates from an artistic exhibition in Milan in 2013, where Rasmus Baekkel Fex was invited to participate in the Danish Mindcraft exhibition showcasing experimental and innovative works. Fex's contribution arose from a sheer fascination with the simple, traditional shaker chair."I work in the borderland between art and design, form and function, and Jonas recognized the values and philosophy of Brdr. Kruger in my aspiration to explore archetypes and materials with an open mind. Together we have reinterpreted the design of the shaker chair, balancing tradition and modernity, and turning a conceptual artwork into a comfortable, usable chair. The Kelim Runner redefines traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with our design DNA with a strong sense for geometric and organic shapes as well as extraordinary color blocking. Our Kelim Runners are hand-made why the weaving from runner to runner may differ slightly. The weaving technique is 'Punja' loom – a traditional and manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. Also, the wool yarn is hand-dyed, and some shade variation may occur due to the nature of wool and dye. The Kelim weave and the wool yarns have a unique, coarse feel. This is part of the characteristic of the traditional kelim technique.

Introducing Rely, a contemporary chair whose sleek shell is crafted from 100% recycled plastic. Designer Hee Welling dedicated nearly a year to researching the right materials for his latest piece. The result is Rely, an environmentally-friendly chair whose modern shell is crafted entirely from recycled plastic. The inventive recycling process, which Welling continues to fine-tune, sees the chair's black shells crafted from the black plastic panels found in a car's interior. Because the coloured shells require clear materials that will act as blank canvas, Welling has pioneered a different approach for them, sourcing post industrial waste. After being crushed into small pieces they are mixed with colour and readied for injection moulding. "When it comes to the environment, we want to do the best job possible with the best materials available," explains Welling of his decision to prioritize sustainability. This ethos has extended to all aspects of the chair's design including its construction; should it require a repair, Welling has deliberately made it simple to dismantle so that its lifespan is extended. Renowned for his signature minimalism, Welling's latest piece continues his legacy of melding simplicity with practicality. Rely's understated appearance belies the thorough consideration that has been given to its ergonomic design, with each of its curves developed to provide optimal back support. "When creating a design with a simple visual expression, the details become extremely important because there's so much focus on them," says Welling. "Yet the amazing thing is that when everything, comfort, construction, function, choice of materials, production method, environment and ergonomics, is balanced together, such details slot seamlessly into place."
