Early 1900's wool hand knotted and hand embroidered Moroccan rug made by the Zemmour tribe in the Zemmour-Zaer region, the coastal North-West region of Morocco near the capital of Rabat. Reputable for their quality, design, and the richness of their palette including decorative and geometric tribal symbolism. Indigo dyed in a vibrant mix of bright blues, golden hues and warm oranges. In excellent vintage condition.
