Milled Full Grain :

This leather has been tumbled in a mill drum, so it has a grainy, textured surface. It has a slight sheen to it, and it’s a little less scuffy** than our original Vintage Luxe leather. The appearance is more uniform and polished. This leather is great for dressier looks. Pigment has been added to help cover up blemishes and natural scars from the hide. It has a more uniform, perfect appearance than the Vintage style.
** Please note that while this grainy surface hides scuffs a little more than our original Vintage Luxe leather, our Milled Luxe leather is still capable of being scratched. (Only top-grain leathers that have been finished with a protective plastic coating are scratch-proof.) All full grain leather can still be scratched. This is not a representation of lower quality; in fact, full grain leather is the highest quality of leather that there is. The surface has not been buffed down (the way top grain leather has been) to remove imperfections, so it is in its strongest state. If well-cared for, it will last for years to come.

We hand selected this full grain leather because of its lovely vintage feel and character. It will break in and look beautiful with age. Because there is less pigment added on this leather style, natural scars from the hide may be more visible. This is not a defect; it is the beautiful, imperfect nature of our Vintage leather.
