Curator's Notes

The Siwa envelope is the first product developed and designed by Onao and Naoto Fukasawa when the innovative material Naoron was first developed. It remains their staple product and bestseller in Japan. The water resistant surface and texture are both wonderful to feel and highly functional.

Naoron is a strong and highly water resistant paper made from recycled PET fibers, wood pulp and polyolefin.
Created using the washi-suki paper manufacturing method
Front flap with envelope closure and string
Surface is naturally creased and will obtain more creases with time and use
Ironing not recommended

Machine washing or drying is not recommended
If cleaning is needed, we recommend using a damp cloth to spot clean and dry thoroughly afterwards
