Made of saddle leather fitted and sown onto a molded fiberglass base, the Guéri­don J.M. low table can also be used as a stool. The hand stitching and edging displays Cassina's exquisite craftsmanship.
Charlotte Perriand designed this stackable low table in 1953 for the resi­dence of her husband Jacques Martin, who was, at the time, head of Air France’s Japan­ese divi­sion in Tokyo. The design was inspired by black lacquered trays used to serve food at official receptions in Japan.
