Derya Aguday and Fotis Merakos grew up surrounded by the traditional art of the Mediterranean, keeping warm under handwoven blankets, eating meals at handcrafted tables and with embroidered table linens made by their grandparents. With a deep appreciation for handmade traditions, they founded Anatolico after moving to Brooklyn, NY. Derya and Fotis spent months traveling around the villages and towns of Turkey to find the most authentic local artisan family producers with high-quality, eco-friendly and ethical production practices.
