Fritz Hansen’s Egg™ Lounge Chair is an icon of midcentury modern design and a triumph of Arne Jacobsen’s extensive portfolio. Originality and timeless design are unparalleled, with the Egg’s sculptural curves that will last for generations. Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Jacobsen changed the history of Danish design with the creation of the Egg™, the Swan™, the Swan Sofa™, the Series 3300™, and the Drop™.

The Egg™ comes fully upholstered in a wide range of fabric and leather types. Pricing is based on the Egg™ in Fritz Hansen’s Christianshavn fabric and is available to order online in a pre-selected assortment of colors. The star base is made of aluminum, mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal. The shell is made of a synthetic material, padded with cold-cured foam. Automatic return is available at an additional cost. A matching footstool is available.
