Iron Heart - Olive Drab Green Whipcord Modified Type III
We've had our eyes on the whipcord fabric used for Iron Heart's deck jackets for quite some time. While they are on the horizon for Fall, we thought we could snag some modified type iii's in the interim. This jacket has all the bells and whistles..plus handwarmer pockets. We love the way the classic red E stitch contrasts with the olive whipcord. We also really appreciate the brown pocket bags and corduroy details throughout - in the pockets, under the cuffs, and on the collar. The whipcord has vertical lines that give the jacket a ton of extra texture in person. It quite an incredible, historical fabric. This is one of those "we've waited so long for this" pieces in the collection. Trust us, it was worth the wait.

A variance of .25" is within tolerance.
Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a 40, or Large. This jacket, unlike the 21oz, is a truly slim fit. You should size up one from your typical shirt size. If you're typically a medium in Iron Heart, you'll want a large. Lucky for most, this piece has a little more length in the body and is once-washed so there won't be much if any shrinkage.  Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40-inch chest.
