From artful scents and eye catching vessels, sisters Michelle and Diana designed the collection with the intention of elevating the aesthetics of the everyday. Taking pride in every detail, they handcraft their candles in California with custom perfumes, rich essential oils, all natural vegetable wax and premium packaging.
The Scent Memories Collection explores the connection between scent and memories. This series of candles presents the sisters' personal stories, distilled into unique blends. Each story recalls a time and place, prominently represented by a bold number on a black jar.
Tropic of Cancer: 23 degrees north of the equator lies a small tropical island where the sisters spent the summers of their childhood The hot days lingered into long, playful nights, and the air was filled with the ever-present scent of fragrant white flowers. This candle has notes of gardenia, tuberose, jasmine sambac, sandalwood and white musk.
Midnight Caravan: 92 degrees at midnight, the desert stood hot and still. Exhausted from their long journey, but still eager to explore, they finished their mint tea and wandered up the dune, the sky full of stars and a full moon lighting the way. This candle has notes of mint leaves, green tea, citrus, yerba mate and cardamom.
Ghost Money: 15 days after the Spring equinox, the girls family gathered to honor their ancestors in the ancient ritual of spirit offerings. As they burned incense and symbolic money, the rising smoke carried their gifts to the afterlife. This candle has notes of sandalwood, cardamom, sichuan pepper, vetyver and amber.
Chasing the Sun: 6 months into the year, a relentless canopy of gray signals the arrival of summer in San Francisco. The cold blanket of fog envelopes the city, and the sisters eagerly await the moment when the sun cuts through with its warm, energizing rays. This candle has notes of palo santo, saffron, tonka bean, champaca and golden amber.
Each candle is 9.5 ounces and provides 70 hours of burn. Cotton wicks.
