Meet the Dazey Ladies: Nargis and Farida

From Mila was founded by Nargis and Farida, a mother-daughter duo out of Orange County, CA. Farida loved creating her own works of art, sewing pieces of clothing together for her siblings when she was growing up in India. Years later, after having a family, she started designing as a hobby, and once Nargis graduated from Academy of Art with a degree in Fashion, their small but mighty slow-fashion business was born. Inspired by their love for travel and places around the world, each piece is hand block printed with hand-carved wooden blocks and printed with non-toxic dyes in Jaipur, India.
