Perks and Mini was born in Melbourne, Australia and currently based in Paris, but those geographical details are really the only concessions that the designs of Perks and Mini will make to the constraints of the material world. Hallucinogenic designs and a progressive approach to the physical construction of their garments makes every Perks and Mini piece a journey to the outer edges of imagination.
Perks and Mini always approach things with an underground sensibility, but for Fall 2020, they take things more literally, with the Under_Ground collection. The usual, cultural associations of the underground, subversive, ahead of the curve, misunderstood and vilified, are joined by geologically underground influences, which celebrate the teeming life ecosystems thriving below the surface.
