New York-based Izola hand pours 100% vegetable wax into 8-ounce recycled green-glass containers to create candles that have a rustic, utilitarian quality. Designed to appeal to both men and women, they're made with pure, natural fragrances that are beautiful and never oppressive. Seen here is Red Cedar. These candles average 40 hours of burning time.

The rough-hewn balm of cut cedar and woodsmoke, drifting low and winding its way through the deep Maine hinterlands. Undertones of native balsam, burning pine, and primitive musk, with a soft, close whisper of patchouli on the bearskin rug in front of the fireplace.
Poured by Linda's artisanal hand in small, carefully crafted batches in Wary Meyer's studio in Cumberland, Maine. 6.7 oz. 40 hour burn time.
Wary Meyers candles are made from a blend of premium food grade paraffin (the exact same as what you find on chocolate and cheese), and soy wax. The wick is all cotton. Their oils are the highest quality pthalates-free fragrances infused with essential oils. Their boxes are made from 100% recycled paper, and the glasses are made with recycled glass.
